The Joy of SWOILZ DY-D C1-28

Jumped in to SWOILZ DY-D C1-28 on the way back from Pratchett's Disc to find only the entry star had been discovered, on further exploration discovered two water worlds and my first Earth-like :) Netted 193k CR for the system + around 100k bonus:

Hey Victoria!!
I'm surprised to see you here. :)
Really super exited to see what kind of pics and inspiration you will bring to this place considering you are one of the best screen archers on the planet when it comes to fantasy games.

Man I gotta hand it to all you who've taken such great pictures...that camera is hard to get to go exactly where you want.

Here are two pictures of my Python

I am a hobbyist computer graphics programmer using the Ogre3D API I have done better camera action then FD debug camera which is awkward to use like my way would of been rotating all around the viewing objects using a mouse x and y and zooming in and out a good distance would of been very nice that way for FD to setup. That said would of like to zoom out a little further and got some quick selfies of some quick combat videos of my turrets firing at a target at a distance.

Not a double planet but a Water World with a HMC moon.

Ammonia World with red oceans. Imagine a sunrise over a crimson sea....

FD need to cater for every type of control, from keyboard to gamepad, so they can't rely on anyone having a mouse, whilst I agree completely that it would be so, so nice for that to work properly! Also, they are highly, highly unlikely to change it much over time. There's a very minor exploit just now to do with docking, where the debug cam gives an advantage over not using it, which I believe breaks its current design brief, so we might even see "5 seconds of dead controls after leaving Debug Cam" implemented to cancel this out. Weapon firing would be lovely, but it ain't gonna happen in this galaxy. :(
