Well elite has what 1 million at max players ? Guess how many CSGO has, a game where if you dont have a mic you get kicked from a competitive game. Almost 9 million and rising ? LOL and DOTA are basically the same, but you talk with characters more than mic(DOTA has mic but people only use it for Cyka Blyot)
I have absolutely no idea what your point is, and I don't see from you even a token attempt to understand mine.
To expand a little on what I said, which may explain things a little better, Elite is not like DOTA or CoD or any of those games. Grinding trade runs, lonely deep space exploration, an array of ships with different set ups to work out and outfit, is not the kind of game that appeals to someone who wants something simple, easy, and quick to have a boomfest with other players. There is nothing wrong with those games (I have Mortal Kombat X and World of Tanks for that very thing), but Elite simply isn't it.
Elite is in fact the very sort of game that would appeal to the quiet, thoughtful, socially-awkward and shy gamers I spoke of in my previous post. I'm not saying that all or most Elite players are that way, but I can say with some degree of confidence that many are.
Forcing multiplayer would inevitably lose a lot of them
Forcing multiplayer would not draw any players from boomfest blastathons or instant battle-royale type games.
