I don't think the name "Thargoids" has made the test of times.
It sounds dated and something taken straight out of a 1950s sci-fi movie. (Not that this is bad - but it does not fit the ED universe in 2015 - imho)
I know there is a lot of Lore and nostalgia connected to the name....but I really think it should be called someting else. "Thargoids" could be the nickname....but not the actual latin name given.
What do you think?
200AD eh? All those Romans...
I think it was the Eagle too. Used to collect. SOMEONE who shall remain nameless, bless her, threw them out...
Nah... don't you know that the Thargoids have been working on genetics in the years they have not been seen. They look human now and are living amongst us, searching out our weaknesses, looking for Baltar...
Just don't tell Sharon...

It didn't glow in the dark, but 2000AD did give me a space spinner with issue 1.

Wait... Dan Dare appears in 2000AD... wha? Mind (slightly) blown.
Also, is that the Million Dollar Man in the bottom left?
Almost....MACH 1 was kinda British version. All done through acupuncture
What about the Hemorrhoids?
I could follow this up with a tenuous reference to Uranus but I think a few here might pile in.
