What Would You Do if You Discover Thargoids First?

Would, you keep it a secret and evilly wait for them to reach inhabited space, whether you escape or die, would you start flying to every station in your fsd range warning all commander in comm chat, make a post on the forums and hope the community believes you (this is assuming its a real contact scenario), shoot them down and pretend it never happened, or something else?

I would personally runaway screaming and try to warn eh I could.

I would hope that my NVIDIA shadowplay software was working and not FAILING ME like it did earlier today. Couldn't even get a screenshot with F10. Something was flakey... might be my dual monitor setup.
Imagine seeing the first Thargoid in-game and not being able to capture it?

I hope when the Thargoids DO arrive it starts quietly... you think you see something out of the corner of your eye... turn to look and its gone.

If playing in 5760x1080 as I usually do, grab some screenshots, then make a snap decision whether I think I can win. If not, run like hell. If so, fight.

If playing in 1920x1080, that means i'm probably already recording (Shadowplay doesn't work in Surround mode, it seems, so I play in single monitor when recording). If not, I'd fire up Shadowplay. Hopefully, I'd get some good footage of the ensuing melee while I try to do humanity honor whether I live or die!

If I discovered Thargoids I wouldn't waste time going to a pharmacist. It's best just to brazen out the embarrassment and go see a doctor so they can prescribe some more powerful treatments.

What I would do if I saw the Thargoids depends on whether I could run away or not. The first time I encountered Thargoids was in the original Elite in 1985, they pulled me into Witchspace and I was fighting two motherships and lots of Thargons. I killed one mothership and then got blasted to bits.

So if in Elite Dangerous, I am able to run away, you bet your life I am running. If I can't run away ... to quote Bon Jovi ... I'm going down in a blaze of glory.
