Hopefully 2021 (3307) will be a tad better than these last 365 days. Happy new year from isolation somewhere in the Achilles's altar.

Both great films...... But yeah I would take shining before both of them.Love The Shining, but a better adaption than The Green Mile or Shawshank Redemption?
Brave choice
Someone will point out the mathematical error in this, but I don't want to be too much of a nerd on a good day!![]()
Flippin eck I'm only 49.... Although the stud thing sounds like a plan..At least he's a "Thoroughbred".
He placed 7 times out of 17 starts. Not even a decent bet.
Put him out to pasture. He will earn more for stud fees and probably be happier not having to waste time running forums.
Happy New Year Everyone!
Oh, Seven....
Oh dang! Forgot that we actually had one more day of crap than we usual have. Ah well, I could claim that since the clock haven't struck 12 yet where I am it actually have been 365 days so far and it's not until a few hours it will have been 366.Happy new year anyhow commander.

Just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year now as I fully intend to be drunk as a skunk later, having at least 2 half of shandys and a small sweet sherry when the clock ticks to midnight and I'm lying face down on the carpet burbling incoherent nonsense with the kids ignoring me and the cat using my head as a scratching post/sleeping place.
Here's to 2021 the Odyssey year. It's going to be a massive update for the game one I'm looking forward to very much.
Stay safe, stay at home and play ED. Be nice to each other especially on the forum as I hear @Yaffle didn't get a new bookend for Xmas so he's a bit more grumpier than usual.
It's been a tough year, the forum and its amazing community has helped a lot of people to get through it together, so thank you to you all for being a great bunch.
And please remember, a moderator is for life not just for Christmas.
It's all Coutts fault btw.

Fly safe during 2021 Cmdr.Considering that 2020 has been nine months of pandemic, followed by an unexpedcted three week stay in hospital (not covid-related) from which I got released a day before Christmas with a permanent life-affecting medical condition which I had no idea I even had right up to the point I went into intensive care, I have to say that I've had better years lol.
Here's hoping that 2021 is an improvement. Can't say it's started well, what with being told yesterday late afternoon that we're in Tier 4 from today, giving me no time at all to do the remaining shopping I needed to do before everywhere closed again, but on balance it's got to be better than the utter crapfest that 2020 has been. So screw you 2020 and gfod riddance to bad rubbish.
Happy new year all, stay safe and spare a second to think about the people who matter in your lives
