I started playing only relatively recently and have not been in too much rush with the main plot. Really enjoying it. Some of the best voice acting, some of the best storylines... Could not ask for more - except perhaps a chance to design my own witcher instead of having to play with Geralt (but then the stuff with Yennefer, Ciri etc. would not make sense).

I think that Geralt was a good choice - they needed to close the trilogy off, explain some storylines from the previous games etc. If - IF - they ever make a 4th installment, then yeah - I'd like to see Witcher 4 with "make your own Witcher" character creation, where the different Schools (Wolf, Cat, Bear and Viper) could replace the traditional RPG classes, like warrior, mage etc. That would be cool!
Indeed - the different schools would/could give new variety to the skills sets and talents that would also work to increase the replayability (if you want to explore the options).
Although, I must say that I am very much partial to wolves... Might be difficult to make the switch.

Same here, although it's mainly due to the fact that other schools were not really present in the books and I didn't finish the game yet to find out more about them...

Had the game a week but nothing to play it on! PS4 (bad word here?) arrives Wednesday. So been studying the map, reading beginners tips and lore.

Yup, I got my Collector's Edition with the figurine, love it!
Storage and inventory improvements souks should have been in the game from day 1 though, they screwed this bit big time. Nevertheless, awesome game!
Can I just say this is the best game I've ever played. Hands down the best!
The amazing developers promised a lot through development and hyped a lot BUT for ONCE in my gaming history they DELIVERED on it ALL! Isn't that just amazing they made the game they said they would...not like many I could mention or one not too far from here dare I say it.
I put 120 hours into this just finished last week and I want to do it all over again.
Cannot wait to see how they develop the cyberpunk franchise.

Fighting the Chort or Howler inside it's hill lair.
Great game I agree, but I wish they might make some fight more interesting. You know the bigger ones that might require more than his personal manpower, sword skills, signs, potions and small bombs.
How about putting his alchemy knowledge to leaving a larger bomb in it's lair and using rope ladder (Yes, those thing he carry's but can only sell as junk!) to escape after using something else to slow it down longer enough before Geralt gets out of there.
Kind of like the W.E. Coyote's TNT bombs he get through ACME.
With enough explosive to bring the hill down on top of that large mutant ram thing.
It would also be cool if he could use the environment more like firing cross bow bolts at stalagtites (Those stone spikes in the ceiling!) while the creature is underneath them if he has to grind his way through this one.
That's just a minor thing though, tearing into a pack of rapid dogs or wolves feels just fine to me.

Changed ReShade preset to Uber Fidelity Suite 2 and added the relevant installation instructions
Replaced user.settings and rendering.ini file with a new one to accommodate changes for the new preset
Removed "Naked Ciri is Naked" mod. After all it's unlikely that Ciri would be naked in that scene. To uninstall Naked Ciri is Naked mod unpack the mod archive again to \The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content\content0\bundles folder and run Uninstall.bat file.
