The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

This new DLC is AWESOME! i like the new UI for the menus. I'm still not done yet with some of the side missions and I'm NOT going to rush it. This is the last update with Gerald as far as I know so better take my sweet doing it and suck it all in.

If the technology to do partial mind wipes existed. I'd happily lose all memory of TW3 just to be able to experience it again, afresh. :)

I did play it through again from scratch a couple of months ago, but on "Blood & Broken Bones" difficulty, instead of the default "normal" level. It adds to the challenge nicely, and I found a couple of quests I'd missed on the first play through.

It's such a good story, and so well realized, that a replay is like re-reading a favourite book :)

So CDPR are making a stand alone version of Gwent. It will include 10 hours single player campaign with quests and isometric map travel, voiced dialogues and of course the PVP mode for online battles.

Now for the best part.

It's going to be FREE :D

I love you CDPR!

Oh man... I feel so ashamed that I've never played a single Gwent game. :/

I didn't really get it at the start of the game either, and by the time I started to get the hang of it and enjoy it then one of the characters who would have given me a unique card had died. Oops.

Finished Hearts of Stone last night so today I've just started Blood and Wine expansion. A lot of great things comes with this expansion like better motion blur, improved meshes, and improved performance on my calculator fopr a PC.

Some screenies...

Back to Skellige for some ReShade testing. ^^

I really enjoyed the main game, and bought the expansion pass in this past GOG summer sale :). The only downside is that I lost my saves a couple of months ago; I don't fancy another 80 hours just to get to the new stuff. Luckily, I can start either expansion with a prepared Geralt, but I have to choose the slots. I can't remember what I went for before, so this might be tricky :)

I'm finding blood and wine not gripping me as I felt it would. Can't really put my finger on it. I haven't progressed the main quest much at all which probably doesn't help. I feel as though it's something about the setting. It all too "continental" and colorful and ye olde knights of olde and stuff. I need to play it more and stop getting distracted by the bauble that is Overwatch.

Its different for sure, I kind of like it, but I'm still very early into it. The quests are well written and also a bit harder to complete.
