You may not be wrong to be honest, but the truth is that looking at the common discord chat is not an indication of how many explorers we have. Sadly though, most explorers are not group oriented and really don't function well when not alone.
At the last count. Excluding my own exploring commander "Themadoll" who is the Deep Space carrier owner. I count that we have at least six active explorers currently out in the black as I type. We typically hear from them around twice a year when they return with data and require escorting back to the bubble.
My hope is that we can use the carrier to provide long distance support to those explorers but as it stands it may end up being simply a mobile base for Themadoll as he meanders around the galaxy alone.
Anyway what I'm trying to say is you may find a truly exploration focused group, and I sincerely hope that you do.
I'm not sure that it willl be an easy task though so good luck to you.
On the other hand we can, and will provide you with the carrier support you need for long distance rescue, repair, refuel and supply, and a discord server where you can chat and seek help and advice till the cows come home. Oh and if you really don't want to return to the core the carrier is fitted with the cartographic module.
