Thermal Vent and Python cockpit since last update

Has anyone got thermal vent beams?
Before the patch they used to work only occasionally [maybe once out of 5 engagements] as heat vents, now they are working 100% of the time. I wonder if this is only me or others can confirm.

Also I have a nagging feeling the Python cockpit something changed - I seem to recall the ship nose was visible now not... could be wrong I have only an impression...

Having 8x Turret Beam Anaconda, of which 4x (4-3-3-3) with Thermal Vents, can say they always worked fine, even before January patch and its fix.

I get ice all over my cockpit windows in my Python. That's when I know I can trigger a SCB. :)

Worked fine before the patch as well. For me anyway.

ok ...does not seem what i had. maybe I just had two encounters of close combat so I had a better hit rate.
hanks for your feedback though.

Python's nose wasn't visible from the cockpit, unless you had certain ship kit installed.
I have not noticed any change.
