They are still improve the Performance ?

You are missing the point. EDO has mis-coloration/hues/bloom issue which they lumped with lighting...resolved lighting...and declared the whole thing as resolved.

Even in your video I think it's visible when looking at the blue icon top left... believe that's the wing indicator

In the SRV look at the shield indicator. Switch to horizons...tell me it's fine with you.
"Fine" I didn't say, that is all your own work, mate 🤷‍♂️
"Reasonable" is not "Fine", no matter how you try to spin it.

Everything can be reasonable - all based on your expectations.

If your expectations are that a dlc that cost you, me and bunch of other people 40$, will downgrade the base game you had - then what we see with light / hue / color is also "Reasonable".

Yeah....
Of course...

I paid £40 for alpha access too, about the same as I might spend for a trip to the cinema and a snack following. So a 'reasonable' sum for the entertainment given to date - even if it has a multitude of issues, I can still make use of it.

But then, my general attitude to most things is 'reasonable' - no point stressing over something trivial, and surely my opinion is mine - I really don't give a rat's rear end over how others interpret my opinion, simple really ;)

Half a grand ? Where did you get that deal?

The best way I know to get an AMD card in that range is from this page (that's the US version), once a week (usually on Thursdays). But the week after I got mine they switched to a random queue system so the way I managed it wouldn't work any more.

This stream tracks the stock, and alerts you when stock has dropped (first in the EU, then about 15-20 minutes later in the US). Many of the people there are helpful and could guide you through the process.

Yes for what?
Both. But even the new 'roadmap' posted Tuesday contains the same information as the livestream:

Ongoing 'fixing' with additional 'content' due this year. Update 7 in September was mentioned on the livestream, I've not noticed it updated in that post or anywhere else.

again no one responded .. how can people with rtxs 2080s run the game with 20 to 30 fps .. wile im on a 1050 ti and i get 30 to 60 fps in settlements???.. and no a 2080 was not made to run AT 40k resolution ..

Not even Frontier know.

There are people with the same graphics card, with different frame rates in different situations.

Exemplified by how you seem to show up in every "complaint" thread telling people to stop worrying about their problems.
Why, thank you, I'm thrilled by your kind attention.
Naturally, in order to please you, permit me to encourage you to become apoplectic over inconsequentials, rage away, old bean, hard!

If you're asking are still trying to improve the performance ?
The answer is yes and no. Yes, they are trying, No, they are not succeeding, at least has far as I can tell on my PC. Running around in settlements is still virtually unplayable, just like it was in the Alpha back in March and now we are half way through August with no word on when they expect to have it running at playable frame rates.
I honestly think the game engine is not fit for purpose ( if the purpose being a First Person Shooter. I'm not even close to 30FPS in settlements, even when not in combat, on hardware that can play CP2077 at 40-45FPS during combat! )

Pretty much a fact for many of us: Performance is unpredictable currently - improved (for those like me who run in 4K / 1440) in some cases by the AMD software, at the cost of clarity, of course. I have had some surface installations where FPS dropped frequently to single digits (extraction sites) and others where 60 FPS remained locked.

Yes, they are working on fixing it, no, there have been no major milestones in improved performance nor stability. It may be a few more months before significant improvements appear, as improved AA has been mentioned, perhaps they anticipate those improvements to occur sooner rather than later - who knows?

My "Oh, no, you don't" moment after upgrading my video card was single-digit frame rates at two very small Industrial settlements (no fires, though at least one was populated). The first was at supersampled 1440, and the second at supersampled 1080; the frame rates were at their worst when I looked away from the settlements. Performance is just all over the place.

On the extraction sites that had FPS plummet to single digits (and cyclic - around 5 seconds of slow then about 15 seconds of 60 - then repeat) playing around with both quality settings and resolution (although I didn't go as low as 1080) made negligible difference to performance, an oddity in itself.
For Odyssey on-foot combat I normally drop to 1440 (from 4K) to keep framerates playable - usually quite effectively - but the couple of bad sites just dragged the FPS down regardless.

Yes, performance is all over the place, and unpredictably so.

Hi !! Well after Months they still havent improved the Performance on Planets at Settlements !? I thought the last updates should improve them
I still have on Ultra and Full HD 60 -70 fps in Settlemtns who can go down on 40-55

They still work on it ? My GPU is not going to 100% System 3700X and RTX 3070 It sucks that the Performance is still that bad in settlements

i thought they wanted fix it in End of 2021 ?

Still mostly unplayable in VR (in space and on planet surface)!
Now that is on empty planets and with outdated graphics, now imagine ELW- Earth like worlds in ED.....not gonna happen with this ancient and poor game engine.

Proof: it will be almost a year since Odyssey beta is out and performance is pretty much the same (worst optimised game i've played).......did engine reached Spagghetti code state, is engine that bad or devs incapable....really don't know....i only see poor results!

Although VR is great, I play this game for quite a few hours in one session. I could/would not play this game in VR for that amount of time. I don't believe it would be good for eye health, imo.
So, for me, for this game, VR is not important.
