I'm on my way back from Sagittarius A* right now. According to my screenshots folder I arrived there on May 17, it has taken me this long and I'm still about 9,000 light years out.
There was quite a lot of scanning neutron stars and black holes at one point but now I've had enough and I'm going as fast as I can manage. I can make 1,000 light years in about 45 minutes, assuming a 31 light year max jump, including fuel scooping. Longer if it turns out there's something worth seeing in a system.
I'll stop for earthlike worlds and things like Herbig stars (strange, rotate extremely fast) and other unusual ones. If somebody else has tagged a star I'll go and tag a planet in that system to show I was there. But there aren't a lot of tagged systems this far out. Just pristine emptiness.
