I'm a person that likes to take photos and go in different angles to take pictures of what I make.. but in this game it just seems as if it's restricting every single one of my shots. It stops almost all the time in the air and I can't zoom in any further and I try my best to try to zoom closer up but it just never does, and when it does then it's too close or it's just it's really far away from the place I want the angle to be, so if I try moving there, it just gets stuck in the area I'm at and if I zoom out then I lose my spot..

press the "T" key

Yes, try the "T" hotkey.

It will change the focus of the camera to the center of the screen, instead of your cursor (if you set that in settings), BUT it enables using the "Q" and "E" keys for straight up and down camera movements, which may help you achieve what you want. Remember to turn it off to get back cursor zoom/rotate focus.

Also, realize that with 0.2.*, the zoom is blocked and slowed down by scenery. Use the Move controls to get the camera where you really want it since zoom will no longer do what it used to do.

Also, if you're shooting your picture at an upward angle, the mouse controls get very twitchy and can send your camera flying across the park.

And they need to bring back zooming through scenery. It's a pain in the butt now when it used to be a joy.

Just yesterday I was theming my coaster that is inside a large cave. I accidentally backed out the top. I couldn't go back through the ground. I had to take the camera back to the entrance. Wind through the tunnels to get back.

This used to happen to me all the time. What an absolute PitA.

Now, if i have the room, I dig a trench first. If I can't, due to existing buildings, rides, etc. , I just give up and don't put the track underground.

I'd rather not have to be a spelunker in order to build underground coasters. I didn't realize that the Sim was so strong with Frontier that building underground would mean that I'd actually have to crawl through caves and tunnels - actually be underground. I suppose for the next alpha release we'll have to run a construction crane to build any coasters and buildings taller that a couple of stories. [yesnod] [haha]
