I don't have too much to say because I'm exhausted but this update is a huge step in the right direction and, at least to me, proves that FDEV is capable of making significant changes. One of the things that brought me joy was reading the lore in the codex. It might not seem like much but I felt it was something the game badly needed. I like the changes to the BGS as well. I can see this game becoming my favorite space game. Anyway, thanks Frontier.

Yep, I didn´t play the Beta and now, with the full release for me it is more enjoyable than before! I like the graphics to (iam a colorgrading veteran) and it seems that the lighting from different lightsources (sun or something else) is making a very good picture of every System.

The Codex is a massive immersive feed to sink in completly in the world of ED.

have to test further but all in all till yet a very good update for me one of the best beside SLF and Aliens.

I must admit on initial impressions it appears very positive. In a way it feels more like the Elite game I was expecting to play. It just goes to show that if they put their mind and resources to it they can massively improve upon the game.

It already was my favourite spacegame, but it now is even more so .
FDev always said they would build the game layer for layer and they really are keeping their word.
