Thrusters Damaged

Hey all i goggled for about fifteen minuets trying to find a answer and didn't find one so i just have a quick question for y'all

If i have been in a dog fight my thrusters were damaged the module to 0% so they are dead i cant move or go to super cruise i am alone in the void is there a way i can fix them i tried the distress beacon but they offer to refuel nothing else.

Is there anything i can do i don't want to wipe my save after just getting my viper.

Near the distress call option is another... self destruct.

Thanks for the reply's i had to end up self destructing lost about 40,000 credits in bounty's.
