You need to be more specific, exactly what class D & C thrusters?
I have D7 thrusters, (seems to be the most common used) The C6 thrusters for sale at my location are 40T heavier and haul a lot less mass. I tried the C7 thrusters and they do improve top speed slightly. Still, not worth the extra weight.

The A7 thrusters, though 51 million, are very smooth. Almost like docking a Type 7 again.
The Type 9 has thrusters?
