TIL: about the emperor

It is funny that the Empire seems to idealise the "American Dream" more than the Federation, even though there are many hurdles on both sides.

That seems to happen often when a portrait is given a voice, but these audio dossiers don't match the voices I had imagined, even if well delivered.

"Note that there is a difference between Imperial Slaves and Slaves. Imperial Slaves are people who willingly enter into indentured servitude to pay off their debts, and are granted the rights and protection of Imperial citizens, and are not chattel property.

They are often Imperial citizens seeking social mobility or supporting their families. Thus, unlike slaves, Imperial Slaves having free will and self determination"

I don't think she had any debts to pay, but I could be wrong. Have to check the codex entries again later. If not than it was clearly out of curiosity, she wasn't working in a mine either.
