To block or not to block... that is the question.

Piracy, for instance? I rarely ask for more than 20t of anything. Most of the time if I scan them and only see single digits of anything worthwhile, I'll hit 'em with the ol' "next time you should fill your hold with gold" and leave.
Ah, the "I'm pretending to be an NPC" gambit? :D

Greetings cmdr's.
Wen a player kills you do u put him on a block list ?

Does it depend on the reason why it happened... like powerplay ?
Or simply a griefer ?

From a roll play point for him you are dead... so it's only normal he won't see you again in the game. Even do blocking is not waterproof.

I wonder what the general opinion amongst the player is... o7

Oh... I forgot to mention... ( i am asking for a friend ) 😇
I have but two times in my first 3 yr.s
Six years of play now and it's rare you'll see the same guy but some cmdrs swear by it.
I know how to high wake and other stuff now.

I blocked three players, though I don’t remember needing to ‘friend’ them to do so - could be wrong though, all when I first started playing in Open. One for consistently blocking the mail slot and being a prat in Comms. One I’ve no idea about and one because he killed me and I didn‘t like it.

Then I just got over the whole thing, dealt with what being in Open can be like and unblocked them and got on with stuff. I find system chat far more annoying than the actions of pretty much 100% of players but I can just switch that off. That’s the closest I get to blocking these days.
