It doesn't work that way. You don't meet random players in PG (unless you are in Moebius which many people don't know and it's separated in several groups).
- Because what you ask is already there !!! If you want to avoid PVP you have 2 possibilities to play, 1 with group mode, 2 with solo mode.
I definitely want the same in my solo mode, why should I be forced to play in your mode in the first place. This is the fundamental question keep looping again and again. Why don't you stop whining and continue spend your time in open and let the other continue theirs in solo.

That view is veeeery lopsided and narrowBecause selling exploration data is a great way to build rep with a faction. A single trip can make you allied, which is very useful for engineers, the Pilot's Federation, etc.

Btw. the point with selling explo data to engineers is valid, neither lopsided nor narrow.
