Does Michael Brookes and other devs still post on the forums? I miss those terse one word answers.

LOL, oh god. I'd just quit.
No dev update from me this week - there will be one next week.
Michael
I'm sure what ever said (if anything) will be a hardly worthwhile calling an update and will also include the words "coming soon"

Didn't you say you would quit when they introduce relation decay ....
I'd actually like this ( Inflation not you quitting ).
I'm terrified about what he will say...![]()

What i expect is some news about:
- Fixing subsystems taking damage from any angle
- Fixing the shield meta
- Passenger missions
- Federal Corvette
- Planetary Landings & Atmospheric Flight
What we will get:
- Obligatory bug fixes
- E3 GREAT SUCCESS
- CQC
- SoonTM
If they lay out a precise "road-map" they trap themselves from a development perspective and trigger rage if they deviate, and rage about their choices. They also ruin the surprise of anything they are keeping under their hat, for example we should find out about hostile xeno's from explorer's with knackered hulls and wild stories not a newsletter.
If they set specific dates again they trap themselves and trigger rage if they delay, finish something early, prioritize bug fixing.
Calm down and enjoy, it's good now and it's getting better.
The problem is a lot of people believe that the road map has been abandoned and are unsure as to whether FD have any inclination/money to actually try to implement half of they things they said would be coming, they have also started adding things like the cqc that are deviating slightly. We don't want a road map just a scrap of hope like a simple everything is ok and we are going to be moving forward with the original plan soon.
But they only throw us scraps of "something else" some would deem worrying.
