Totally new player looking for a place to call home.

Well met everyone. I am a new,like sidewinder level new pilot, looking for a place with people willing to point me the road ,not do the walk for me. I am up for any type of content BUT piracy. Willing to learn, open my ears before open my mouth and although new to Elite, not exactly new to the genre or the concept of teamwork. EU TZ mainly, Discord with voice comm channs ofc is a must imo. Would preffer a team/squadron outside of gaming communities, i dont wanna be just another grunt. Thank you for your time reading this, fly hard never safe.

Black Widow is a new player friendly BGS-oriented squadron. We're pirate themed, but piracy is a very small part of what we do. And there's no 'nice' way to say this, but as new as you are to Elite, you probably don't even have an accurate view of what "piracy" even means - you're probably talking about "ganking". By "Piracy" i mean any illegal (within the games context) acts of violence or detention, or any act of depredation, committed for private ends, especially against another pilot. If you are not into that then i would gladly check you out!

There's lots of stuff that's "illegal" in the game. Half the MISSIONS are "illegal"! Offer withdrawn mate, good luck have fun etc o7

Our squadron is an ingame logistics company... but even we need to do some illegal missions and acts from time to time. Perhaps best for you is searching for an explorers community.

Thats a sound advice. I understand the above squadrons views and respect the way they want to play the game,and yes it makes sense to ruin "illicit" missions form time to time, ofc i am over exaggerating here on purpose stating i dont do anything illegal in the game,but only as an answer to someone who does not pay attention to my initial message.I clearly state i dont wanna do Piracy,and then, i am contacted with the offer of joining a Pirate "themed" corporation,promptly being reminded that i am ignorant to the game (ofc i am) in an effort to justify their viewpoint about an argument that is out of context form the beggining,then being met with "offer whithdrawn" as an answer. Anyways thank you for your advice, i think an exploration/trading focused squadron might be something closer to my interests in general!
