Hi Eventure,

Many Thanks for this new feature:
Added new feature to add all star systems to the cartography database, which can't be added by scan or is already known.

I was waiting for something like that for a long time. Now my dream came true.

Great work, as always.

Fly safe cmdr

Still getting my problem (from the previous page) where, whenever I am docked, TCE always shows "FSD Approaching Okinura" and I cannot add the port I am in.

Love the program (previous versions) and I would like to use it.
Could you be more specific in your suggested fix?

Sure, please start EDMC without TCE and check the commander name, which is displayed. Thereafter, check the TCE Launcher, if there is the same commander name shown, as in EDMC.
Your issue can happen, if the commander name, stated at the last journal file, wasn't the same as in TCE. Maybe you can send me your database by using the Report an Error button at the launcher of TCE
AND your last journal file or folder.

Thank you.
TCE and EDMC both show the correct name, ship, and station.
This was a "clean install" so no database unless you are referring to one outside of the TCE folder.
As for Journal files I did find them, apparently kept by date and game session, but I have probably booted ED in my current career 40-50 times since I played the 2nd career that's why the "last" Journal idea confused me.
Also I tried, upon another clean install of TCE 1.5 to NOT process Journal entries and that did not help.

Can I delete all the journal files in the ED folder if needed?
And perhaps I will also try a uninstall of EDMC and reinstall.

Also...a thought.
I am not sure how the career files are read but my main career name is "DukeIronHand" and my 2nd career name is "DukeIronHand2". Maybe the somewhat similar career names are causing confusion to some part of some program?

I didn't suggest to delete all journal files, if you want that, I suggest to always make a backup before.

The main reason of your issue could be, that your current position in game, stated at the journal log, differs from the netlog file or your commander name differs between the game and TCE,
so TCE ignores all journal files with a different commander name, e.g. the last one.

If you start TCE before ED, TCE alerts you, that you are using a different commander, when loading into the game, otherwise TCE will only report "Loading game detected".

Okay thank for for the additional clarification.
Think I have a better handle on the issue now and will keep playing with it.
Just bought a TradaConda and that, and TCE, should be like peanut butter & jam: meant for each other. :)

The user Ibastavd had a similar issue (read here and his solution, read below) and he had two monitors too.

The problem, that TCE isn't ontop of ED, could be a driver issue (do you have an AMD GFX-Card?), but I am not sure. If you not have done it already, activate the Multi-Monitor option and the Monitor ID, where TCE should be displayed.

Eventure - Think I found the issue. NVIDIA GeForce Experience had downloaded a new graphic driver and attempted to install it without success. This was all done i the background (partly due to my children sharing my computer and making changes without my knowledge). I wasn't aware of this until I started to get other strange things happening in different programs. Reinstalled the latest graphic driver and it solved the problem.

Thanks for your hard work and dedication to this program.

Hello,
came across a possible bug? could also be me being derpy.
Using Route planner the station Im using (and in the planner itself) is CPD-23 501: Malchiodi City, but in the main UI in the "Route Active" part it says to go to LFT 709: Malchiodi City.
Untitled.png

Not even sure if there is a Malchiodi City in LFT 709...

thanks for the great app.

Malchiodi City is in both LFT 709 and CPD-23 501, there are a few duplicate named stations in and around the bubble.

You can send me your database by using the Report an Error button at the launcher, so I'm able to recreate the issue. When restarting the route, is the issue fixed thereafter?
Thanks.

hey again, just some observations from using the new 1.5 version

1 clipboard seems to be updated regularly with auto destination system (don't know if its intentional - can we get an option in the settings to turn on/off)

2 scroll bars on cartography and summary panels dont seem to scroll properly (might be just me)

3 composition lists of planets and stars doesn't show all entries - i.e. volcanism, atmosphere, body class. - can we get a scroll bar inside these (addition - if you use down arrow after picking any entry it goes through the ones you can't see)

4 getting error in cartography panel but that has already been reported at top of this page.

just like to say the new addition of the cartography is awesome and a welcome addition. Thanks for all the hard work Eventure :)

Another question i'd like to ask is there a possibility we can all contribute to an online cartography database, which is updatable and downloadable so we are all using an ultimate supersize cartography database. I don't know if this is possible but it would be awesome :)

thanks again for this awesome program :)

No, the issue isnt fixed after restarting.
I'll send the database on asap

Found the issue, update is on it's way!

Hi there,

1. Every time, when a destination is selected, the clipboard got updated. Simply deactivate the automatic destination system at the Options panel or click the AUTO-DESTINATION button above the Destination panel. Will add an option later on to deactivate the feature.

2. Didn't find an issue here, but with the next update, the scrollbars will only appear, if they are required. Otherwise they stay hidden.

3. Don't know, if I understand you correctly, but you can click each body and star of the list to get more data. Otherwise please point me directly (e.g. with a picture) to the issue, where the data is missing and where you would like to see a scrollbar. Thanks.

4. This error will be fixed with the upcoming update.

Update [1.5.0.1] released:

Changelog:
- Fixed an issue when scanning the primary star of a star system, the fuel scoop value isn't updated properly.
- Fixed an error at the Star System View at the Cartography panel.
- Fixed an issue with showing sometimes the wrong market, after starting a trade route at the Route Finder panel.
- Fixed the visibility of the scrollbars at the Star System View tab of the Cartography panel. They will only show, when required.
- Fixed an issue with an overlapping composition box at the Cartography Add Planet panel.
- Fixed an issue not showing a planet's picture at the Summary panel.
- Removal of a non-existant star system from the database.

Note:
Copy all files and folders from the update into your TCE installation folder to update your version.

I like to remind any user, who wants to use TCE in french, russian or spanish, to help in translating the
latest commodities and interface phrases at OneSky. Thanks in advance.
