I'm looking at around 15 minutes so far with no indication it's really doing much...

Are you sure there's not another window open somewhere asking for your permission to do sth? From memory one that does this is "PROCESS JOURNAL ENTRIES Y/N"

OK now getting asked to process Journal files. Yay!
Then it errors with 58 remaining. Rats.

Check your AV and add an exception for it.
Found the issue, sneaked in with the last build, have added a fix into the lastest update. Download the manual update and paste all content into your current TCE folder, if you have updated already to the V1.6.6.7 before.

[1] RANDOM ERROR EXITING SUPERCRUISE IN VICINITY OF A STATION
I've not seen this before in this system, I've been to this station yesterday and it's registered.
And TCE remained in 'PLEASE WAIT' state and I had to quit TCE.

[2] ECONOMY TYPE IS BEING RESET TO NONE
I've reported this previously and it appeared to be fixed, however today when I manually Connected to update the station data on first starting TCE the Economy was reset to NONE. But it doesn't happen all time as I've tried again and it didn't happen?
[3] ENTERED A NEW STAR SYSTEM AND TCE GOT STUCK
Entered HIP 47587 SYSTEM, which I haven't visited before and is a new Star System to TCE, and TCE got stuck in the 'PLEASE WAIT' state after the Event Reported showed that it was a new system. Checking the Stars.db and the new system had been added. I had to quite TCE due to it being stuck in 'PLEASE WAIT' state.
[4] FACTIONS ERROR
When I select HIP 48768 I get the following error. No errors are shown for other Systems I click. TCE continues normally after the error.
I've not seen this before in this system, I've been to this station yesterday and it's registered.

Found the issue, have added a fix into the lastest update. Download the manual update and paste all content into your current TCE folder, if you have updated already to the V1.6.6.7 before.

I don't know if you got the other 3 issues above?
[2] Rarely happens.
[3] Seems to happen all the time when entering a system that isn't in TCE db's, (so far 3 times, for 3 new systems) as mentioned it gets added to the db but the 'PLEASE WAIT' state doesn't change and requires TCE to be quite and restarted.
[4] Happens all the time for me for this example
RE: [3] I'm returning from a 8K sightseeing missions, so most of the Stars are new to the TCE DB. Not seeing the same issue. Running Win 7 here.
Typically the 4th system I jumped into that wasn't in the TCE db didn't cause a problem, and that was the case for the next 2 also. Which is why I came here to update it.
4. Please set the TCE_Factions.db to default, there are some illegal entries from the last beta test of the EDDB-Relay.
The other issues are still under investigation.
