I would suggest to add the appconfiglocal.xml to the ED executable folder, the normal appconfig is overwritten each time an update of ED is installed.
The appconfiglocal.xml is never removed by an update. So try this first. Download the file (link is in my last post) and copy it into the folder.
There should be then an appconfig.xml and an appconfiglocal.xml file. If it doesn't change anything, remove the verboselogging entry from the appconfig.xml file.

Ah found the problem.

I already had an appconfiglocal.xml that looked like this in there

I removed that and now TCE is working perfectly. Must be a left over from slopeys trade tool from a few years back...lol

I don't know which one that is, but on the launch screen go to SETTINGS and you can change the Font from there, Although there are quite a few so good luck hunting that particular one down.

You have however peaked my interest, so I'll have a play with different fonts tomorrow.

It looks similar to the in-game font, which I think is Eurostile - there are a few versions out there though, and I'm not sure which one!

Changelog:
- Added the ability to stop/pause the rescan of player journal files. I will contiune at the point, where you stopped the rescan. The last file is displayed at the extension tab of the launcher.
- Fixed an issue with the rescan of player journal files, creating duplicates star entries by mistake. Rescan your journal files to readd overwritten entries.
- Fixed an issue with the detection of the planetary radius from the Cartography database, which can prevent the update of the panel.
- Fixed an issue with the datetime format at the Mission tab of the Personal panel.
- Fixed an error when clicking the notice, that no routes where found at the Route Finder panel.

Notes:
Either download the version above, install and transfer your old database, or use the auto-update function of the launcher.
Click the 'new version' notice at the bottom of the launcher.

If you find an error, please report and use the Report a Bug button at the launcher and don't forget to copy the error details and ErrorReportFile.7z archive.
