There really is no need to be disrespectful, using a large bold font in a demanding manner. Have some respect for the tool makers, they don't do it for the money. If you have an issue then by all means ask, but ask politely and not in a shouting demanding tone as this is.

Seems trollish to me considering this was their second only post in the forums.

I agree 100% with bAdbUd. I was going to reply directly but thankfully stopped myself as I was not going to be quite so polite.

Ask questions politely, do not demand from the application authors, there is usually a very good reason for what they do and why they do it.

Observation

While checking out this site: hxxp://coriolis.io/ looking at my load out and seeing what I might improve or change. I noticed the Installed Modules section was missing one in the list, I have six hard points, and it's only showing 5.

When will it update the drop downs after it's been removed (Database/Market Data Tab)? Is is supposed to do in on restart or are you patching this one on the next release?

It already update the dropdown list, if you delete a station here. It doesn't update the Navigation panel properly, which will be done with the next release. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but you said:

Why would you install a ROOT CERTIFICATE onto my computer?? Please explain yourself!

Sorry, but you missed the thread here! TCE Mk.II didn't install any certificates at your computer, because they are not necessay to run the app.

Perhaps you crying about the Mk.I Excel version, which requires certificate to ensure, that you didn't drop down your macro security setting for the app to zero. Please post your dissatisfaction into the Mk.I thread, but before doing that, I suggest to read some posts before I did there about the macro setting and similar. They could enlight you to get understand why it is necessary. Otherwise, don't install it, if you don't like it. It is up to you.

Fixed the shipoutfit view, they were already there, but not properly displayed.

Followed your steps, deleted (by pressing the red DELETE button) one of the double entries and opened the database panel again to modify an entry and there is only one left. If I delete the other, it is gone too.

This is weird, I can't do that.
Here's the screen shots, in between I press delete entry, and it goes blank.

I then hide the window, go back to database etc, and view the drop down, and as you can see it's still there.

Oh no, you misunderstood the buttons. With the NEW, MODIFY and DELETE button you set, what you want to do at the database. When selecting DELETE ENTRY, a dropdown is displayed to choose a market, you want to delete from the database.
When you have selected a market, the data is displayed, like the modify selection of the market, and a red DELETE button is displayed next to the HIDE button. Click on him and you delete the market from the database. The panel automatically closes and had to be reopened again.

Got there in the end, now I understand how that works. You know, a manual for this app is kind of necessary, you imagine any other newbies who wants to try this out are going to go over the same stuff at some point.

Hi Eventure, great to get my hands on MK II.

I have found a couple of issues with the 0.9.9.9 version.

When resizing panels (in this case the main menubar) I struggled when I inadvertantly made it too small, because the slider scaled with the rest of the form.

Also a panel scaling issue, I reduced the size of the new market form, then the font size, and then I noticed that the title of the form had moved and was obscuring some of the services buttons.

Re installed pc due to new parts and older system failure.

Installed 0.9.9.7 and went straight to elite launched tce for first time usage, auto detected my file locations no probs.

launched TCE and went to navigation panel to be sure all had worked so far.

This is where i see the following problem -

so i thought maybe thats fixed with 0.9.9.9 but alas it stays the same?

to be clear at this stage i have not imported my DB yet.

It comes, because the Elite font is not installed at your system. TCE uses the default font instead, which is a little bigger than the Eurostyle font. Reduced the size or install the Eurostyle font from the TCE installation folder.

where can i get it from? will check the mk 1 thread.

EDIT 2: downloaded mk1 and installed that font and all working now. Maybe unless i missed it needs putting at the start of this thread?

I'm getting this error while trying to scan the commodites. The first scan runs fine, but this error appears after having scrolled the list down and click scan again.

I tried re-installed the OCR tool, ran the color calibration again as well as training the tool with some images and having now luck. I also enabled the "show OCR process" option but that shows no error messages.

Unusual error

Been using TCE with no problems then suddenly had this error.

I noticed that TCE was not updating for some reason and therefore restarted it. Now I constantly get the following error

The relevant netlog file is here - unfortunately it is rather large.

[Edit] - happened again this morning. Seems to be related to the size of the netlog file. Under a certain size it is fine but once it hits around 25Mb the error occurs.

For some reason in the last couple of days my files have been particularly large. The only thing I can put this down to is that I am currently doing a CG around Brestla and the constant shuttling between two locations produces a large file??

hi eventure,
found a small bug, could you please check if it's fixed in upcoming release?
as i was smuggling a bit (ahem), i often added a star system & the market to the db.
when docked at a station, after registering the star-system and thereafter the market,
TCE always reverted my actual position to 'system:near primary star'. had it like 3 times.
directly restarting TCE showed the correct position/market.
