To have one or other Automatism in getting prices (or even more) into TCE,
you have to download and install either EliteOCR or EDMC (Elite Market Connector) by yourself.
TCE supports both, but they are not integrated.

Edit: in terms of EDMC install it, register it (you'll get a mail).
After registering a market a connect button will appear.

Yes, TCE works on your data that you have input from the stations you have landed at, gradually building up a better picture of places to trade with.

The more info the better the trading options.

Im pretty sure that I did get EDMC -- I had to log in and get the verification code etc. So I thought that was ok.

after configuring tce and pointing it to the EDMC folder, start.
when docked at a station, go to database -> markets -> new entry.
fill in the required fields, submitting with 'enter', where possible.
a save button will appear when it's complete.
after saving, you'll get a connect button at the main panel, beneath the trade button(if EDMC installed & found).
That's it.
repeat for other stations/markets, and you're good to go.

Hi Scotty. If you install EMDC (link is on the first page) and land at a known station there is a single button press to get all of the current station information including commodities. If it is an unknown station you first need to enter the basic station information (location, type etc) before EMDC can download all of the other information.

- Reworked the import routine slightly.
- Moved the panel name box at the Main UI from the top to the mid.
- Fixed an error, when saving a route at the Route Planner panel.
- Fixed some issues with the displayed data at the Main UI, when a trade route is active.
- Fixed an issue with the detection routine, when using keyboard shortcuts.
- Fixed an issue showing wrong distance, when a waypoint was reached.
- Fixed an issue on updating the Navigation panel, after adding a new star system.
- Changed the delimter display for planets from '-' to ':'.
- Added a jump limit display to the ship informations at the Personal panel.
- Fixed an issue not showing the ship picture at the Personal panel.

Note:
No update available, because of major database changes. Please import your old TCE Mk.I/II database or start fresh.
The import of databases for this version could take a little longer, because all markets, logbook and location entries have to be updated to the new star system id schema.
With all the new data the size of the main database is quardrupled, what results in a slightly slower performance of TCE, because more data are processed.

ok i installed as a fresh version, renamed old folder tce1 ,, im in the import mode , so its importing MKII - MKII
it asked for a path to DB , i assume its the DB folder in my old files,,
if this is the case how long dose the import take , i have very little in the maybe 30 systems,, its been running "Please Wait " for a Hour now ????

Launched new version

Picked auto and directory for elite

Went to database operation to import mk2 DB

All completed without error

Launched TCE and got the following error -

ERROR in Startsequence: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

DB files here as forum wont let me for some reason, presume file size is too big now as i still have space left for attachments.

Found the issue, please reduce your trade range to 100 LY at the TCE.ini by manual edit for a fix. Will release an update soon.

programmet eller datamaskinen (machine.config) ha
jitDebugging-verdien angitt i delen system.windows.forms.
Programmet må også kompileres med feilsøking
aktivert.
