Hello and Greetings,
i try to get use of the route planner, but i can't get it. I readed the manual but still i can't get a station to the planner so i can add the second station and so on....can someone give me a tutorial? Step-by-step or a short youtub vid about planning a route?
And i don't know if its possible: If i'm at station "A" and will fly to station "B" which is far away...can this programm tell me the profit i can make on the waypoints to the last station? so i can make some profit on the long way to destination.
Thx for this great program.
Hello McNolan,
thank you. Now, I like to give you a small step-by-step guide to the Route Planner panel.
Here we go:
Select first , if you want to create a looped trade route (you return to the market, where you started) or a non-looped one (ending with the last selected trade market).
Thereafter select the filter settings for the displayed markets, you want to choose from.
Looped Trade Route:
Step 1: Select a market from the Stored Trade Market list below, where you want to start. The stations, which are displayed, depending on your selection of the filter setting at the top. The distance display is from your current position.
Step 2: Select the commodity, you want to sell, when returning and the commodity, you want to buy and transport to the next station.
Step 3: Soon as you selected both sell and buy commodities, a small add (+) button appearing behind the selected trade market. Click it to add the market to the register.
Step 4: After adding the market, the Stored Trade Market list displaying all markets, within the range of the filter setting and the buy commodity, you have selected before. Select now a new trade market. The distance display now shows you distance from the last registered market.
Step 5: You will see, the sell commodity is already selected and you only have to select a new buy commodity from that market.
Step 6: Goto Step 3.
Step7: To finalize the looped trade route, it is required, that the last selected trade market has the same buy commodity as the first selected market's sell commodity. Thereafter you can PREVIEW, START or SAVE your route.
Sometimes, you add a market to the register, but afterwards, the Stored Trade Market list is empty (no markets found by the filter setting). If this happens, remove the last market from the register with the substract (-) button and select another market to contiune. Also, it is required to select a minimum of three markets to the register to finalize it.
Non-Looped Trade Route:
Step 1: As above.
Step 2: You only have to select a buy commodity, because you are not going to return to the market.
Step 3: As above, beside selecting a sell commodity.
Step 4: As above.
Step 5: As above.
Step 6: As above
Step 7: To finalize the non-looped trade route, select only the commodity to sell and leave the buy commodity blank. Thereafter you can PREVIEW, START or SAVE your route.
A fly-by trade route is not directly supported, but a non-looped trade route can do it, but it is difficult to manage to find your designated destination market.
TCE is most efficient, if the commodity is directly traded to the destination market asap. I think you will loose profit on stopping by at markets on your way.
Hope that helps, if not, feel free to ask more questions.
Fly safe.
