Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

hi eventure,
found a small bug, could you please check if it's fixed in upcoming release?
as i was smuggling a bit (ahem), i often added a star system & the market to the db.
when docked at a station, after registering the star-system and thereafter the market,
TCE always reverted my actual position to 'system:near primary star'. had it like 3 times.
directly restarting TCE showed the correct position/market.

You stored the unknown star system at the market (not in supercruise)?

yes. feeling more comfortable doing that docked. no good idea, i assume?
do you actually have to do it directly after entering the system?

- Reworked whole UNKNOWN STAR SYSTEM visit. Now all moves within the system are now stored properly.
- Fixed an issue not showing the proper amount of credits in Total view at the Credit panel.
- Fixed the Position and Destination showing bold letters/out of display.

Note:
There are some fixes done at the import routines, to remove issues and crashes with imported databases (Mk.I and Mk.II). I recommend to reimport old Mk.I databases to fix some issues.
You can import your old Mk.II databases, but some data could be wrong, like the stored location notes or Activity credits earned, which got overwritten by pre V1.0 Mk.I import bugs.
I am working currently at the manual, but it will need some time for release. So feel free to ask, if something has to be explained.

Congrats with Version 1.0.

Just to make sure, I`m on 9.9.9. So it is ok to use the update 1.0 since that uses the full version 9.9.7??

Eventure. Congratz with the 1.0 release. It looks smashing. Hopefully the teething problems are mostly gone with the 1.0 release and you have it a bit easier ;-)

I've had a little trouble with my rig, ended up having to reinstall, which I'm currently finishing. Dam hardware issues. So I haven't played since Thursday. I'm getting withdrawals fortunately this release comes at a good time, although I think I'm about an hour or two away from having everything just right. :D

  1. What specifis issues will there be in the DB from 0.9.9.9 that's been imported from MK.I?
  2. Are these issues fixable by manually manipulating the entries in the DB?
  3. If so which entries would these be?

Thank you all. Working hard on the 1.0 over the last week. I think, we made some progress.
Some issues are not solved yet, but the are only minor and of course, hard to recreate.

1. All Stored Locations notes are overwritten, Unregistered Stations table data (Star System name) incorrect, earned Activities not imported, invalid logbook and stored locations entries, if detected, are not imported (causing errors). TCE tries to repair them, if possible,
2. I think, that requires alot of time.
3. All noted above.

If your 0.9.9.9 database working fine, you should try to import it.

Initially i used the update file and copied those into the 0.9.9.9 and then started TCE up from there and the error was there straight away, so copied that folder elsewhere and uninstalled tce. Installed full version 1.0 and imported the DB and its still the same.

The DB i posted above is from 0.9.9.9.

Unlikely to be one to two hours, I forgot how long a new install takes to download....

I wasn't getting DB errors in 0.9.9.9 so it should be good to go then, guess I'll have to just try it and find out. When the game has actually downloaded. :(

Okay, I imported your database without any problem. Please make a screenshot of the Database window, before starting the import and after. Thanks.
@What error you got?

@@Found a bug, please make only one import/start of TCE. Gives an error, if you try to do multiple imports actions. Please restart TCE for every new import. Will be fix with the next update.

Eventure,
Just viewing everything without the game running at the moment, and I believe version 1 is looking really good, hat's off to you.

Found something I want you to take a look please, sorting didn't give me the results I was expecting in the Navigation tab, might be my database.
Fresh install, imported database.

Change suffix to 7z and extract.

*** Further examination suggests that if it was visited and you changed it to Scanned it would change the display value but not remove the table value for visited.
The same goes for Changing from Scanned to Explored, the value in the table for Scanned is still the same although the display value is now explored.
I've changed one of the values back to scanned and all the explored turn up as well the one that is scanned.
