Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

Hello everyone,

I like to ask the TCE community, how about you feelings in adding soundFX to the interface?
Any hints on locations, if you like the idea, where I can find free sound effects or voice recordings, that could fit to TCE for opening, closing, notifications, typing and selecting things?

I prefer no sound with TCE, but if you can put in an option to mute them, folks can choose. Sorry, I don't know where to get that stuff.

First of all, thank you for this amazing tool :D it Rocks.

Now to my question : Is it normal? That when I OCR some commodites, TCE won't recognize "LOW TEMPERATURE DIAMONDS" and add them to list of commodities, like I did in OCR. Trained the damn thing as well and it still won't add them, when I do the scan with TCE. Any help ?!?

I find that many others can be missed whilst scanning, what I do in those situations is reposition the top of the screen that's being scanned, go down one commodity at a time and rescan again, rinse and repeat until it's scanned, or manually add/amend it after completing all the scans.

Really not sure on this one. It would have to be optional, and most important include a volume slider, too.
I use VoiceAttack, Orion and Text-to-Speech, so no real use for me...
Perhaps more like 'clicking' sounds than Voices?

You will be able to use the sound mixer of Windows to adjust the volume level once, so including a slider is not required and would require an additional library, that I don't like to add for that.
It will need some time to find suitable sounds for TCE, I won't take anything.

Please check the spelling of the commodity within EliteOCR, if it is correct.
You can check the scan results by opening the export.csv file at the OCR_Export folder and look for the commodity after scanning it, if it is present.
When present, but incorrect spelled, you have to train EliteOCR further, otherwise it is a problem of TCE.
Will make a test run here to be sure, reporting later.

@Did the scan here and all went fine for "LOW TEMPERATURE DIAMONDS". So I am thinking of a spelling issue or EliteOCR requires more training.
Store the screenshots, created by TCE, if EliteOCR having problems with displaying proper prices or commodities by clicking at the Store Screenshot button, below the HIDE button at the Commodity Panel > Scan Prices.
Use these screenshots for aimed improvements in training EliteOCR.

Perhaps work with the EDDI dev on this?

I have a couple of old entries I've been carrying around for a while in my db,
When a new version of TCE comes out with improvement on the delete feature, I try to delete them again.

When I clicked delete the panel disappeared, just as if it did work but now even after restarting TCE and Verify all green,
every time i go in Database, Market, Delete, I get this error :

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

When I try to launch TCE for the first time, I choose the 64bit option, but the launcher does not recognize the verbose logging. (eventhough it is done and other tools like Elite OCR recognizes it) If I click on the verbose options, it says that it can not find a part of the path for appconfiglocal.xml, while I already do have one with the necessary network section and code lines in it. To be honest, to make sure, I did insert verboseloggin=1 in to all appconfig.xml s for all 3 version options to make sure.

If I only show the launcher path, TCE automatically assumes the client is 32bit, and it allows launching TCE. In this way, almost everything in game works, except for the scan option. I did train EliteOCR with multiple screenshots, and it works almost perfectly on its own, but does not work within TCE. TCE is able to OCR only a few lines at most, while the EliteOCR tool itself gets them all. (dont know if it is related with not being able to launch TCE in 64bit option.)

Screenshot below. Any suggestions?

I suspect this to be a windows language pack problem. I am using a Turkish windows10 and in Turkish there are two different types of capital I, one with a dot and one without a dot. Same with the small "i", one with dot and one with not. While I did upgrade from a windows7 ultimate (which did have multiple language support and I was using it in English), Microsoft did not allow me to choose any language other than Turkish for windows10 during the free upgrade.

Any suggestions on a solution? Thanks.

You must be right, that this is a language issue, did you tried to edit the TCE.config directly and enter the required path there, bypassing the launcher?
Hope it is a typo error above, the entry is called VERBOSELOGGING="1", not VERBOSELOGGIN=1.
Another try is to download this View attachment AppConfigLocal.xml file and copy it into the game folder and remove your made entry from the AppConfig.xml.

yeah, I believe it really was a language problem. In the TCE.config, Folder path was "ELİTE" (capital dotted i in Turkish), instead of "ELITE". Edited the TCE.config and saved. To make sure, also replaced my own AppConfigLocal.xml with yours. Now detects everything perfectly, including the game version.

Thank you for the help.

Thank's, I managed to fix the "LOW TEMPERATURE DIAMONDS" in commodities it has to go as "LOW TEMPERATURE DIAMOND"

Now I have another question, "AI RELICS", "ANTIQUITIES". They don't wan't to add neither, is it me doing something wrong again ? ? ?

That are salvage goods and not regular trade goods (they have no buy price), therefore TCE ignores those goods, because they are traded only at blackmarkets and not at the commodity window of ED, afaik.
