Did your made an transfer with the 1.4.05 again?
The actual TCE_Stars.db is error free in case of the apostrophe issue.
Supporter flat has updated all names and position data.

Please verify your TCE_Logbook.db database at the database window of the launcher.

is there a reason I arrive at a location that I have to explore the whole star system as never been here at all, and when I land TCE tells me I have visited this place 60 times and the market is up to date yet when i try and modify it its not in my list.

Looks like an issue with the logbook. Can you send it to eventure(at)ki.tng.de. Make again a reset with the V1.4.0.5 to test, if the issue arise again.

After updating to 4.3.0.5.
Transferred MKII DB and no errors yet.
Some new new nifty features to explore.

Sry, but pre-V1.40 isn't working with the current version. All other sounds wired indeed.
The problem is, you can't update the commodity data, because the connect button didn't show up, right?
The button only shows up, if TCE identifies the market as registered, so TCE wanting you to register the market anywhere (Event Reporter or Position Display)?

Thank you! I updated to 1.4.0.5, reset my database and transfered again. It seems to have fixed all my issues. Personal notes copied fine this time. Trade data updates properly now and the connect button works again. I don't get an error clicking on navigation.

Did you using the newest version of TCE?
There was a bug before, showing registered markets as unregistered and no button appear's, because it will only show up at registered markets.

I think the new update has sorted the problem. I have visited my home station and the button was there and I visited a new station and the button came after registering.

I found a different issue. I was able to get from LTT7548: Boltzmann Gateway to Seida: Covey Settlement which I had never been to. Unfortunately I am unable to add it as a new market. I click to add the market but a lot doesn't auto detect ex. all the market services are missing. I manually fill out all the missing information, which is right on the system map display ex. Allegiance, Economy 1 & 2. The last entry missing is star distance so I grabbed a guess from online i.e. 18. Unfortunately even after I fill the last field I do not get a save button. Star distance remains red and no save button. If I simply hide the window I have to reenter all the data. Ideas?

You can get the exact star distance from the system map and you have to press the ENTER key on your keyboard after entering the distance for it to be accepted. Then the save button should appear.

Update
I just got a new station without a 2nd Economy and I didn't get the Save button until I selected NONE for it. Might that be your problem too ?

Inserting images in you posts on this forum.

For all of those having problems posting images on this forum. Because they were getting overloaded and had to pay extra for file storage, the ops remove support for direct pic upload. You have to use a 3rd party site and then select "from URL" when inserting a pic in you post.

A good and easy site is :
http://imgur.com/

Account creation is quick and easy and then you can drag and drop, file explorer select or copy and paste pics from your computer.

Once uploaded when you click on one image it will give you a bunch of different kinds of links to use for different purposes.
For this forum I use the second one : "Direct Link"

Yeah that part I know but when you do, you can't (as far as I know) add a pic for that system. So what I meant was that wen we do Click the Class/State header and manually select as star class, that would be a great time to pop up the camera window for us to take a screen shot of that star.

Hello Eventure,

the Error appears again, i can't modify or delete the market, It's The Flade Enterprises in System LHS 28, it has a Shipyard. Oh, and if i fly to the station, the compas shows as i would land on a planet base, this is, because the Station are display'd as a planetary base and not as a space station.

The problem is here, that the number of translation for all commodities differ from the number of commodities at the database. So if have 160 goods, but only 156 translations, TCE fall into a black hole.

OK that seemed to work thanks. Now only have 156!

Spotted some other glitches though.

- When mining or selling commodities back at the station the notification pop out comes up 'Unknown Commodity' and then for example 'Name:$Palladium_None'
- The panel positions for Waypoints, Cargo & Summary do not appear to be saving - I have to adjust the positions every time I start TCE
- Had a problem with the Cartography database when entering a new previously unexplored system. I jumped from Colonia to Eol Prou LW-L C8-76 and TCE detected a new system and put the information in the current position panel but then I got this message. TCE carried on running but the new system didn't show in the summary or navigation panels. Looking at the stars table in the database showed that it had not been added.


On a different note in a future releae would it be possible to have a user defined period for the time the notifications are shown? Sometimes there is so much going on with ED & TCE that I don't have time to take it all in before the notification has disappeared :(
