Yes, they will show up, when you returning to them. The issue, you reported, appears only at planetary installations when registering them the first time. It's only a display issue.
Will be fixed with the next version. Preparing the beta compatible version of TCE for tomorrow.

I just upgraded to version 1.5.1 (and then to 1.5.1.3) and I'm getting an odd error message (well several). Error while reading records on table Elements:SQL Logic error or missing database, no such table: public_Elements. I also get one for public_cargo.

Please follow the guidelines below, how to install a new full version of TCE and how to transfer your old database to the new version.

1. Rename current/old TCE folder (e.g. D:\TCE.old).
2. Install new full TCE Version (e.g. D:\TCE).
3. Run the TCE Launcher.
4. Select Database -> Transfer -> Choose old folder (D:\TCE.old).
5. After scanning, select Start Transfer.

VR

I received a message this morning from CMDR Jameson with good news to all VR users, that he had successfully achieved to display TCE in VR by following this VR guide on reddit.
Because I don't own such gear myself, I can't test and adapt TCE to VR specifically, so please report, if I can do something to make this experience most pleasant.

Well, if that isn't good news! I failed horribly at VR cause of probs with my eyes, but who knows, one day, new gen devices...
Nonetheless, anything that improves the experience for ED and TCE is most welcome, isn't it.

after you get the error, the option to continue is there but its best to reset TCE as it doesn't do much after the error, i visited a space station i hadn't been to before and it didn't recognise i was docked in it, also further DSS scans of other planets didn't auto save the data in the cartography panel, or show the camera panel.

Yes after getting the error I had to restart TCE for it to continue to work. But I don't know what caused the error, I'm out exploring so it's only Cartography data that's being saved. Interesting that you got the error after using a DSS which makes me think it's that data that causes the error. However I've only had the error once and I haven't seen it since.

Beta Notes:
To all, who wants to test TCE and the ED beta, I suggest the following:
1. Install a beta-dedicated TCE version to your drive and name it so, like D:\TCE.beta
2. Transfer your database from your current TCE version to the beta-dedicated version by the TCE launcher, if you want to use your current database.
3. Don't forget to select the beta version of ED at the launcher of TCE.
4. After starting TCE, you can ignore or allow to process all unprocessed journal file, because TCE will ignore the non-relevant journals (all non-beta), if you have selected the ED beta in step 3.
5. EDMC is not working in beta, so the Connect button is not usable.

Have you made sure that you have installed all of the dependencies? Specifically the latest version of .Net? You also might want to make sure that you have the most recent service pack for whatever version of Office / Excel that you are running.

TCE doesn't require MS Office at all to run. That was for the MK I version. MK II is purely .NET

Please install the V1.5.1 and transfer your database with it, then update to V1.5.1.4 for the moment.
I will add later, when I came home, the upgraded TCE_Cartography.tdm file to the actual update, which is missing currently.

I will report, when the V1.5.1.4 update file contains the missing database.

MS Office is not required anymore to use TCE Mk.II. As bAdbUd stated, that was in the times of the Mk.I.
