mkay, do the following: select the option 'send error report' via the launcher (red triangle). a 7zip file will be generated in your TCE folder, attach that to the mail which will open at that point. pretty sure eventure can sort it out and maybe even send a repaired DB back. just a bit of patience, mate, it's past midnight in germany.

TCE Crashes after starting

Hi, I'm trying TCE for the first time. I've got the latest version installed but after I click on the shortcut to start it up, the title/login screen appears for a second then disappears. Does anyone know how to fix this?

And still get the missing database error. Looking in DB folder that table name doesn't exist.

Have been attempting this fix for two weeks now as I get the chance to play (which means I haven't played since this error won't resolve)

The error shows me, that you are using an outdated Resources.db database at your installation. Please send me the databases of your last working version to eventure[at]ki.tng.de for a check.

Normally, if you install the latest version (V1.6.3) into a new folder and launch it thereafter, the error won't appear. If you then open the Database tab and clicking onto the Transfer button, selecting the old TCE version folder and thereafter the Start Transfer button, the old database will be transferred into the new version. When finished, close the launcher and restart it again. If now the error appears again, I require your old database. If not, all is fine and your are back on the road.

Hi Jessara,

this is not a common behavior. Please check first, if your AV is responsible for the issue.

[1] STAR SYSTEM NAME CHANGE ISSUE
Arrived at PUPPIS SECTOR HW-W B1-1 which has had it's name change to EVA'S HUSH. But instead of PUPPIS SECTOR HW-W B1-1 updating the name change, TCE created a new entry for EVA'S HUSH and Star System PUPPIS SECTOR HW-W B1-1 remained in the list.

I'm not sure if you tried to fix this a while ago when I was in Colonia?

The problem in this case is, that the journal y-coordinate for EVA'S HUSH [72.750,-1.688,-43.250] is slightly different from PUPPIS SECTOR HW-W B1-1 [72.750,-1.6875,-43.250], so TCE could not identify the system to correct the name.
Because the journal x/y/z accuracy (3 digits) is not the same as the TCE database (4 digits), so I have to round the TCE data to 3 digits to match the coordinate data. Will add this with the next update.

Downloading issue.

Hi Eventure,

I was recommended to TCE by N.R Crosby, and Ive been trying to download this program for a while, but every time, the download will download some and just stop. No erros, no messages, just "The download was interrupted", now I've turned off my Firewall and Windows Defender (The only AV I have) is off, or so I am to believe. I just need some help installing this and I dont know what else to do.

The full size is even as your post, can't read the message for sure, but I believe you are using an outdated database, either by copying all databases by hand from a former version into the new version, or you have installed the new version over an old one.

Please install the V1.6.3 into a new folder, then start the launcher, click the database button, thereafter the Transfer button, select your old (a non V1.6.3) TCE version, otherwise you have to edit the version number at the TCE.config file to 1.6.2 before,
then click the Start Transfer button. When finished, you are ready to go!

The message was: Error while reading records on table Markets_UR:Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I can't get to the transfer option in the launcher, each time I start it up it brings up that message and goes nowhere.
