During the process to update TCE, I am getting stuck at the initial select commander login screen. I renamed my former TCE directory and installed the latest update. I was interrupted while verifying my previous database and now I am getting stuck on the login screen. Is there a config file stored outside of the TCE directory that may have been corrupted and I should check or delete? I tried a fresh install and still get stuck at the login screen for at least 15 minutes before giving up.
That information is still present, in the NAVIGATION and TRADE OVERVIEW PANELS, unless I'm not understanding what you mean?
I thought there was an option to either have the new view (icons) or keep the old view (text) for the TRADE OVERVIEW PANEL, if there is then I can't find it?

When this option is not selected you get the New Design for the Summary Panel, and visa versa, shouldn't it be the other way round?

Some times when jumping to a new system that's not in TCE's db the navigation panel looks like this until I close it and reopen it, or perform a column sort which resolves the issue.

1. How many squares are unfilled, and which, if this is the case?
2. Did you have EDMC installed at your system?
3. Check your firewall, perhaps TCE is blocked?

As designed, TCE found newer journals than the last processed, but they got ignored, if the name differs.
1) All of the squares are filled. The first block was the last to fill in. The interface continues to flash "Loading"
2) I updated EDMC yesterday and it is running and displays my current status.
3) My firewall has two entries for the program. One for TCE and the other for TCE-Relay. They were already existing and I verified that they were set to allow incoming/outgoing connections.

Thanks for the infos, have to check, were it could hang, but that's not a usual behaviour.
Please continue to use the former version, until I know, what's going on.

Now I cannot get past the login screen. I looked around for some user settings but could not find anything else to delete. As I mentioned, I can go into the prior versions and run them.
I will be patient, but as you mentioned, this seemed unusual.

Yes, I re-downloaded the latest version and installed in a new directory. I noticed the CMDR directory is new, it wasn't present in my old versions. the program still stops on the load screen.
Small issue with Trade Panel

I have detected an issue with the Trade Overview Panel when using the Shipyard tab in v1.6.6
The tab does not appear to be cleared before it is populated. For example a station with 3 ships shows the ships in question but after closing the panel and re-opening it the shipyard then shows 6 ships (the original 3 plus the same 3 again). When going to another station and displaying the panel again the shipyard shows the ships at the new station plus the 6 ships (2 lots of the same 3) from the earlier station. Further diplaying the panel at this or another station continues adding to the tab. Restarting TCE clears to earlier ships but then continues adding them once again.
A simple clearance procedure seems to be missing/not functioning.

so.. im trying this again.. removed everything related to TCE and did a complete reinstall of everything after changeing a bunch of windows settings..
lets hope that windows doesnt write lock the entire TCE folder and makes it impossible to change again..

Don't install TCE in "Program Files" or "Program Files [x86]" folders, install it in a folder of it's own, or on a different drive.
