I noticed when watching the official Multicrew tutorial video that crewmates are entitled to trade tithes for any transactions made on markets etc. It would be great to see a proper 'Trader' option alongside the standard and additional roles (Smuggling sort of covers this, but it would be nice to have a lawful variant).
Also, this could go someway to helping trade ships in CGs or open, as you'd have a crew/fighter pilot on board to help out in the case of interdictions. Everything seems to be in place for this to happen, but as it stands there's no way to join a random crew as an extra hand for trade runs specifically.
Maybe it's just me, but I could see this being a very helpful and potentially lucrative (within reason, or course) option for Cmdrs, and there's lots of traders out there.
