Trading Speedrun (video) - Post your times!

"It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs."

Greetings Commanders,

I have been doing the Chango - Aulin medical run a lot as I grind my way towards a Lakon. I think I'm getting pretty good at it!

I thought it would be fun to have a competition to see who can do this run the quickest. It's not a serious thing as there is obviously a fair degree of random chance (but interdictions seem rare on this route).

Here is a video of my first timed attempt. Rules are in the video and also posted below.

By the way that is my first ever youtube video. Hope you like it and and feedback is appreciated!

Rules:
1. Use a Cobra Mk III
2. Start in Chango Dock on the pad facing away from the slot (this is the most common position when doing this run repeatedly)
3. Start the timer as you hit the "Launch" button.
4. Fly to Aulin Enterprise using any techniques you like.
5. Stop the timer as soon as the starport menu appears and the ship voice says "Docking Successful".
6. Post your times in this thread. Video evidence appreciated but not necessary as this is just for fun. (don't tell porkies though eh?)

I would rather be careful than just fast.
Driving right down the middle of the road huh?

Time is money friend! Unless of course you crash and loose millions of credits of Cargo... But doing this run over and over does get a little repetitive, timing yourself just spices it up. Dodging that Lakon at the end was one of the most memorable times I've had out of combat.

Speaking of which, my time was 5mins 34 secs.

Looking forward to seeing someone destroy it!

You would make more money on fish.

I'll have a go as thats my trade route anyway, might make it more exciting, but I'm in a hauler and have no recording equipment.

Thanks for the tip! I'll try fish next time. The run is mainly for the return trip with the Prog Cells but every little helps.
And the 'rules' aren't that serious. The whole thing is just help pass the time in those long trading sessions.
