Triple Elite plus Admiral & King.

I have my 1984 Acornsoft badge (see my avatar), triple Elite (plus 0% harmless CQC), Admiral but not King, and 'boy you sure do have a lot to say' Forum Elite along with 'some of what you said was quite good' rep Elite (I think, it's over 6,400). I'm proud of some of those ;)

Was going to say you get a game mode to play in to go with open and solo modes: smug mode. But it seems you also get a(s) sa(u)lt mode too. (No I don't know what that is either - but it sounds good)

How does the game know your "Home station" ?

For instance, I move around a lot, and don't.... really have one as such.

I've sometimes wished there was a way I could leave a note for another Cmdr (one playing in another mode, or different timezone) in a dock to give them the opportunity to contact me for BGS related negotiations. I rarely PvP & never start a fight, preferring to talk instead. I gave up my home base to a player group through diplomacy after I'd singlehandedly beat them in a surprise attack (I didn't realise they had put another faction in control on purpose while I was out exploring, they didn't realise the system was 'managed' because I'd been away for so long).

If a player has two or more ships stored in a station I'd be happy for there to be a newsfeed article listing that player's name. I'd be happier still if I could pledge to a faction (an NPC one in my case) and have the station list all the players pledged to that faction, and a few stats about them. One of these could be triple Elite status.

This sounds like in-game persistent acknowledgement from the NPCs that we exist. I like the sound of that.
