Orders 17 - 21 APR 3308

Project Status:

The expansion out of HRIMFAXI is underway and TDW will arrive somewhere new sometime between 20-22 APR. Now that the post-expansion TDW inf drop is nearing there, we need to focus our efforts away from boosting TDWs INF and instead, push INF onto Kaupolock PLC so the system stays nice and stable.

Speaking of INF boosting, WOLF 629 got thrown for a bit of a loop with the rise TDW had there. We need to stop the retreat of Labour of 70 Ophiuchi, but not boost them so hard that they get into a conflict with another faction as that will only make another retreat cycle very possible afterwards

I double and even triple checked this this time and am glad to say that we have so far shepherded the conflicts in TDW space FANTASTICALLY. We have a nice balance of conflicts (priority on keeping TDW in control of LHS 397) and regular mission/cargo work to pick and choose from for this cycle so get out there and keep doing the things you love to do!

I’ll see all of you on Thursday!

Items of note:

ANYANWU - Last day in the elections to keep Alliance of LTT 5419 in that #2 spot, right where we want them to be

COELRIND - This system is a mess as usual, win the election here for TDW then it’s back to leaving this one alone

HR 4979 - Alliance of CD-33 8748 and the other non-native got into a fight, we will need to end this one for Alliance of CD-33 8748 quickly so that we can fix Nuenets Corp’s anticipated very low INF on the loss. With the negative BGS state they caught, they will likely be close to retreating and we don’t want that.

LHS 1857 - Let Earth Defense Fleet win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

LHS 397 - Sol Worker’s Party is challenging The Dark Wheel for control of the system via elections. Is 2-0 today in favor of TDW, let’s keep that rolling to a nice 4-0 sweep!

LHS 417 - Let Lemat Partnership win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

WOLF 629 - TDW got a bit too high here and as a result one of our non-native factions got thrown into a retreat state. Please push some INF towards Labour of 70 Ophiuchi and not TDW here as any work done for another faction will make it harder for us to keep Labour of 70 Ophiuchi in the system

Turning the Wheel remains in the final planned phase of the project. Our primary goals during this phase are to maintain the systems that The Dark Wheel controls for BGS stability and to continue to expand TDW into neighboring systems. If a new system is free from other PMFs and/or PP issues, TDW will take ownership of that system. If other PMFs occupy the system, we will seek an agreement to allow TDW to stay, be friendly, and not attempt to take control of the system. This is the “good neighbor” policy that has worked very well for the project thus far. At present, the current status of TDW in so many systems is in opposition to what the codex entry says. As TDW grows and this difference becomes even greater, it is hoped that this will trigger “something” with respect to Felicity Farseer’s quote in the TDW codex entry.

Above all, we continue Turning the Wheel for the camaraderie that working together for a common goal brings.

As always, if something pops up that “looks odd” see the General Remarks.

Please remember:
  • Do NOT work for other factions in TDW systems, unless requested below.
  • Do NOT hand in trade goods or cartography data to stations that we do not own.
  • Do NOT hand in bounties for any faction other than TDW in our systems.

Possible Next Expansion Trigger System:
TDW Missions for INF, Cartography Data and Trade Profits at TDW controlled stations, and Bounty Voucher turn ins are desired at:
- None, expansion from HRIMFAXI is in process

Conflicts:
LHS 397 - SUPPORT The Dark Wheel in ELECTIONS to maintain control of the system
COELRIND - SUPPORT The Dark Wheel in ELECTIONS

9 PUPPIS - SUPPORT Ralu Independents in ELECTIONS
ANYANWU - SUPPORT Alliance of LTT 5419 in ELECTIONS
HR 4979 - SUPPORT Alliance of CD-33 8748 in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
ROSS 154 - SUPPORT Barnard's Star Advanced Corp in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS

Bounty Hunting:
Bounty hunting in any of our controlled systems (9 PUPPIS and/or ANYANWU Compromised Nav Beacons and/or Resource Extraction Sites in TDW controlled systems are great places to go).
Turn in TDW bounty vouchers earned in these locations:
- LP 787-52

General Missions & Passengers:
Note: Work Missions for INF in the following systems for the given faction, when moving these factions up above the native factions, if a conflict starts, we typically want these non-native factions to WIN those conflicts against native factions

High Priority:
WOLF 629 - Labour of 70 Ophiuchi [5.1] Stop the Retreat, keep them in the 5-6% range
HRIMFAXI - Kaupolock PLC [6.4] want to get them back up to 15% for stability after the expansion completes

Long term planning:
86 MU HERCULIS - Colanja Gold Power Services [11.1] want ~15% for buffer
BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group [12.4] want ~15% for buffer
LFT 926 - Collective of Independent Agents [12.0] want ~15% for buffer

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Profitable trades into, buying commodities from, and/or hand in Carto Data at:
- LP 787-52 - Tanner Orbital (SML/MED Pads)

Preferred #2 non-native factions for long term stability:
9 PUPPIS - Ralu Independents
ANYANWU - Alliance of LTT 5419
HR 4979 - Alliance of CD-33 8748
LHS 397 - Sol Workers' Party
LTT 5455 - GQ Virginis General Corporation
WOLF 629 - Sol Workers' Party

General Remarks:
Where TDW is a guest, we want TDW to be above the natives, ideally not conflicting with the other player factions, and never in conflict with the controlling faction. 15-20% INF is a good max, unless otherwise indicated
  • ARQUE - TDW is a guest of Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps, no work required here
  • CHARONIUM - TDW is a guest here with LSR but with no diplomatic comms with Star Pilots
  • CHONTANTICI - TDW is a guest of Wolf 406 Transport & Co (AEDC)
  • COELRIND - Hudson PP system, for now leave this alone, TDW only needs about 7% MAX here.
  • DOMOTWA - TDW is a guest of Sidewinder Syndicate
  • JAUNERA - TDW is a guest of Delta Squadron
  • LAVE - TDW is a guest of Lave Radio Network, ~15% is ideal
  • LHS 1857 - TDW is a guest of Flotta Stellare
  • LHS 417 - TDW is a guest of Blood Brothers from Alrai
  • LP 787-52 - TDW is a guest of Minutemen
  • SOKOJI - TDW is a guest of Wolf 406 Transport & Co (AEDC)
  • WOLF 433 - TDW is a guest of LHS 2541 Alliance Combine (AEDC)
  • As a general rule, when factions in a TDW system are in conflict, we want the native faction (Blue N by their name in Inara when looking at the system) to LOSE. Where two non-native factions conflict, neither winner is “desired”, depending on INF level after the conflict, we would likely boost the LOSER to avoid retreat (happens at 2.5% or lower). Two native factions in conflict can be ignored and their INF in the system can be addressed after the conflict ends.
  • Another general rule, we want non-native factions above the native factions to avoid invasions. Take note that when factions are above 7% influence, and two of them match in %INF, and at least one of them has an asset, this will trigger a conflict. Where possible keep a few % between non-native factions to avoid a conflict as the loser will likely need to get boosted back up above the native factions for stability of the system.

Please continue to use EDMC or similar tools to keep local data up to date.

Orders 21 - 24 APR 3308

Project Status:

The expansion out of HRIMFAXI is nearly complete and I will let all of you know what to do when I see where the expansion puts TDW.

Fantastic job with knocking out the orders in the last cycle CMDRs! It made this weekend’s orders cycle significantly easier!

LHS 397 is the only “eyebrow raiser”... again… clearly Sol Worker’s Party wishes to give The Dark Wheel another asset. Let’s get the 4-0 clean sweep and make another system asset fly the TDW flag!

As usual, the buffet of things to do for The Dark Wheel is full of all the game loops. Have fun out there CMDRs and I will be back here on Sunday!

Items of note:

COELRIND - Let Alchemy Den win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

LHS 1857 - Let Earth Defense Fleet win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

LHS 397 - Awesome job 4-0’ing the last conflict! Sol Worker’s Party is once again challenging The Dark Wheel for control of the system via elections. Let’s do another clean 4-0 sweep and add another asset to TDW’s ownership list!

LHS 417 - Let Lemat Partnership win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

LTT 5455 - Our preferred #2, GQ Virginis General Corporation, caught some bad luck and got hit with an outbreak, let’s push some INF into them so we can keep them nicely in the #2 spot with all the non-TDW assets in the system

WOLF 629 - Just a little more work here for Labour of 70 Ophiuchi to help them ride out the retreat state, they currently have enough INF to not leave, but we won’t want them to fall any lower

Project Status:

The expansion out of HRIMFAXI landed The Dark Wheel into HAHGWE, which is a Civitas Dei controlled system. Civitas Dei welcomes TDW to this system, per the good neighbor policy we will never challenge them for control. Let’s win the invasion war here and secure TDW into the #2 slot with about 12-15% inf!

As always, you CMDRs have done an outstanding job keeping things well handled across TDW space! This order cycle is mostly a cleanup/continue for the weekend! We have a number of conflicts to resolve in the way we want them to go and they are already going that way now. WE do have a couple of systems where the low non-natives could use some love, but mostly the mission work is light housekeeping.

Keep up the great work CMDRs, I will be back here on Thursday!

Items of note:

COELRIND - Let Alchemy Den win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

LHS 397 - Currently 2-0 here, well on the way to that 4-0 sweep and adding another asset to TDW’s ownership list!

LHS 417 - Let Lemat Partnership win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

Project Status:

Fantastic job knocking out the orders last cycle, TDW is well on it’s way to a very nice position at #2 in HAHGWE. Additionally, your overwhelming successes have made this weekend’s orders list quite short. Though the list may be small, there are still all game loops to choose from, so take your pick and have a nice relaxing weekend out there in TDW space CMDRs!

I will be back here on Sunday!

Items of note:

86 MU HERCULIS - Colanja Gold Power Services is a stones throw from getting into a fight to take back the preferred #2 position here

BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group caught some bad luck in the conflict and fell quite hard, they could use some love

CHONTANTICI - TDW getting too high on INF here, no work for a bit

LHS 397 - Excellent job repelling the Sol Workers' Party, clearly they only want to lose two assets, some INF into TDW to push a proper gap will keep them in the preferred #2 spot quite nicely

LHS 417 - Let Lemat Partnership win per the good neighbor policy, no work expected here afterwards

Project Status:

Excellent job keeping TDW space nice and handled over the weekend! Most everything is a carry over of the longer term items like conflicts with only a few “new items” which is always how I like to see things happening in TDW space. We have all the game loops on offer and even one system, where after a couple of days shepherding a conflict, we will likely be able to easily light off another expansion!

Have fun out there CMDR’s, I will be back here on Thursday!

Items of note:

BD-18 3106 - Great job shoring up LHS 2335 Group, once the war here is done, we can move them up to #2

HR 4979 - Don’t worry about Nuenets Corp taking a dive here, this is intentional

LP 787-52 - Let Aetas Eternum win per the “good neighbor” policy, we will need to boost TDW inf here after that loss

WOLF 433 - TDW and the #3 are getting close on INF, boosting TDW to avoid a conflict is always good, else we will just win the conflict and force a gap that way

- AFTER the war is won for Alliance of CD-33 8748, HR 4979 is a likely candidate

Conflicts:
9 PUPPIS - SUPPORT Hlocidirus Resistance in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
HR 4979 - SUPPORT Alliance of CD-33 8748 in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
PHRA LAK - SUPPORT Usiren Free in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
ROSS 154 - SUPPORT Barnard's Star Advanced Corp in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
WOLF 629 - SUPPORT Sol Workers' Party in ELECTIONS

Bounty Hunting:
Bounty hunting in any of our controlled systems (9 PUPPIS and/or ANYANWU Compromised Nav Beacons and/or Resource Extraction Sites in TDW controlled systems are great places to go).
Turn in TDW bounty vouchers earned in these locations:
  • WOLF 433 (as long as TDW is not in conflict)
  • PHRA LAK

General Missions & Passengers:
Note: Work Missions for INF in the following systems for the given faction, when moving these factions up above the native factions, if a conflict starts, we typically want these non-native factions to WIN those conflicts against native factions

High Priority:
ANYANWU - Aegilips Co [4.7] want ~7% to avoid invasion and for stability
ANYANWU - Alliance of LTT 5419 [10.8] want ~15% for buffer
BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group [7.3] want ~11% to prep for next conflict

Long term planning:
WOLF 433 - The Dark Wheel [12.6] want ~15% to avoid conflict
86 MU HERCULIS - Colanja Gold Power Services [12.5] want ~15% for #2 in the system
ANYANWU - Alliance of LTT 5419 [10.8] want ~15% for buffer
9 PUPPIS - Ralu Independents [10.6] want ~15% for buffer

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Profitable trades into, buying commodities from, and/or hand in Carto Data at:
  • WOLF 433 - Romanenko Port (SML/MED Pads) - ONLY as long as TDW is not in conflict
  • PHRA LAK - Schiltberger Station (ALL Pads)

  • HAHGWE - TDW is a guest of Civitas Dei
  • JAUNERA - TDW is a guest of Delta Squadron
  • LAVE - TDW is a guest of Lave Radio Network

So there was a plan to get an allied faction into HR 4979, but that got derailed...

HR 4979 - Nuenets Corp [1.5%] want to stop the retreat, missions for INF are the needed item

Things are heating up a bit in TDW space for this cycle, many conflicts to choose from, the one in WOLF 629 is going to require a little extra work to turn that one around all the way for our preferred #2 there. There is also the recovery of Nuenets Corp in HR 4979 for until an allied PMF can come join TDW there (long term plan). Everything else is looking very nice indeed! We of course have some small housekeeping work to do so scroll on down and check out the buffet of options for the week!

Have fun out there CMDR’s, I will be back here on Sunday!

Items of note:

HR 4979 - The plan that was in place for Nuenets Corp here fell through, we do NOT want them to retreat. If Alliance of CD-33 8748 finds themselves in another conflict, we will want them to win

LHS 417 - Let LeMat partnership win per the “good neighbor” policy, we will need to boost TDW inf here after that loss

LP 787-52 - Let Aetas Eternum win per the “good neighbor” policy, we will need to boost TDW inf here after that loss

WOLF 629 - 36 Ophiuchi Future [4.4] want 6-7% to avoid retreat/invasion

Long term planning:
LHS 397 - Revolutionary Party of Tiapalan [7.8] but with two bad states, want to keep them at ~7-8%
YUQUI - The Dark Wheel [49.4] want ~60% for a nice buffer zone between TDW and TEAC

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Profitable trades into, buying commodities from, and/or hand in Carto Data at:

We have the usual carry over from the weekend of the conflicts, mainly because they take longer than the weekend to resolve but you CMDRs are well aware of that! Got two systems that need a little housekeeping work, nothing major, just some targeted INF bumps and things will be nicely sorted. After we get those systems squared away, they will likely be on the list for where we could push TDW to expand from next. All in all, we got all the things to choose from for your preferred game loops, so get one out there and have some fun CMDRs. I will be back here on Thursday!

Items of note:

HR 4979 - Great job preventing the retreat of Nuenets Corp! They are currently sitting pretty good, but if they take a bit of a dip in the next day or so, a slight nudge would be good to keep them at the ~6-7%

LHS 417 - Let LeMat partnership win per the “good neighbor” policy, we will need to boost TDW inf here after that loss

LTT 5455 - Got a little bit of housekeeping here, need to boost our preferred #2 into conflict and shore up the other non-native after that conflict starts

WOLF 629 - Also a bit of housekeeping, but only need to get Sol Workers’ Party into conflict and then make them win

Nicely handled CMDRs! Only one outlier from last cycle with Ralu Independents taking a loss in 9 PUPPIS, but that’s something we can fix on a slow burn. There’s a nice list of conflicts to choose from, as well as a short list of systems where some mission running, being an explorer, and/or being a space trucker would do some goodness. All in all, a healthy list of things “to do” out there in TDW space!

See all of you here on Sunday!

Items of note:

HR 4979 - Nearly done with the conflict here, should be easy to sort the list out after that is done

LTT 5455 - Once we push GQ Virginis General Corp to win the election, we will need to shore up Wolf 562 Major Inc’s INF here to make sure they don’t catch a retreat state

Turning the Wheel remains in the final planned phase of the project. You CMDRs rock! Things have been masterfully handled from the cycle over the weekend! This cycle brings us a mostly conflict heavy set of things “to do” but nothing that raises my eyebrow. Have fun out there in TDW space this week CMDRs. I will see all of you here on Thursday!

Items of note:

HR 4979 - Last conflict to sort out here and then this system will be in a nice BGS stable place

LTT 5455 - Once we push GQ Virginis General Corp to win the election, that should setup the system nicely to look at doing an INF push to get TDW to expand from here

- skip this one again, if we get the non-natives sorted in LTT 5455, then we will likely push here

Conflicts:
LHS 417 - SUPPORT The Dark Wheel in ELECTIONS

9 PUPPIS - SUPPORT Ralu Independents in ELECTIONS
ANYANWU - SUPPORT Alliance of LTT 5419 in ELECTIONS
BD-18 3106 - SUPPORT LHS 2335 Group in ELECTIONS
HR 4979 - SUPPORT Alliance of CD-33 8748 in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
LHS 306 - SUPPORT Movement for LP 732-94 Liberals in WAR with CZ’s and WAR MISSIONS
LTT 5455 - SUPPORT GQ Virginis General Corporation in ELECTIONS
ROSS 154 - SUPPORT Barnard's Star Advanced Corp in ELECTIONS
WOLF 629 - SUPPORT Sol Workers' Party in ELECTIONS

Bounty Hunting:
Bounty hunting in any of our controlled systems (9 PUPPIS and/or ANYANWU Compromised Nav Beacons and/or Resource Extraction Sites in TDW controlled systems are great places to go).
Turn in TDW bounty vouchers earned in these locations:
  • LP 787-52
  • LHS 306

General Missions & Passengers:
Note: Work Missions for INF in the following systems for the given faction, when moving these factions up above the native factions, if a conflict starts, we typically want these non-native factions to WIN those conflicts against native factions

High Priority:
LP 787-52 - The Dark Wheel [12.8] want ~15% to prep for a conflict with the winner of the civil war there

Long term planning:
YUQUI - The Dark Wheel [51.0] want ~60% for a nice buffer zone between TDW and TEAC
LAVE - The Dark Wheel [14.1] want ~15% (super slow burn due to that high population)

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Profitable trades into, buying commodities from, and/or hand in Carto Data at:
  • LP 787-52 - Tanner Orbital (SML/MED Pads)
  • LHS 306 - Melvin Port (ALL Pads)

  • HAHGWE - TDW is a guest of Civitas Dei
  • JAUNERA - TDW is a guest of Delta Squadron
  • LAVE - TDW is a guest of Lave Radio Network

Fantastic job CMDRs! TDW space is looking pretty good except for a few outliers, but I’m sure all of you can handle that like you always do! This weekend has a pretty even split between conflicts and mission running, so scroll on down and take your pick of the things needing doing.

I will see all you you again on Sunday! Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:

DOMOTWA - TDW getting too high here, no further work, we do not want to conflict with SS

LHS 397 - Not sure what’s going on over there, but a boost to TDW to counter that dip would be VERY nice

LTT 5455 - Once we push GQ Virginis General Corp to win the election, that should setup the system nicely to look at doing an INF push to get TDW to expand from here

HAHGWE - The Dark Wheel [11.0] want ~15% for a buffer and to prevent a conflict

You CMDRs rock! Things coming out of the weekend are looking really good! TDW space has a number of places where mission running is needed, but only a few items are “pressing” but I am sure you all will handle those as you always do. We do have a few conflicts to handle as well but that’s a very short list for this cycle! Take your pick of what is on offer and have fun out there CMDRs!

Note: I have got some IRL stuff coming up, the next two updates on the regular Thursday/Sunday schedule will be handled by the one and only Cryptography!

Items of note:

DOMOTWA - TDW getting too high here, no further work, we do not want to conflict with SS

LHS 417 - Let LeMat partnership win per the “good neighbor” policy

YUQUI - TDW and TEAC are getting far too close for comfort, some work here to boost TDW’s inf back to about 60% would be VERY GOOD

Project Status:

Well done Commanders! Most of our space is pretty quiet with no important conflicts or disasters to worry about. As usual there are still a variety of activities to keep you busy. We are getting close to expansion in LTT 5455 so we can push that over the next few days.
Due to RL timezones, this and Sunday’s posts are going to be about 12 hours off from the usual times. Feels good to blow the dust off the old BGS library!

Items of note:

DOMOTWA - TDW is still a little high. We can assist Sidewinder Syndicate a bit.

LHS 417 - Let LeMat partnership win per the “good neighbor” policy. TDW up 2-1.

YUQUI - TDW and TEAC are still too close. More work for TDW, but also Baris Progressive Party needs some help.

Orders 29 MAY - 2 JUN 3308

Project Status:

Again well done Commanders! We have our expansion from LTT 5455, kicked off on the 28th I believe. We should arrive in a new system about 10th June. A little work in LTT 5455 to raise our two non-natives back to safer levels and minor work in some of our other systems should bring everything back to stability. I believe Wolfdragon will be back on deck for the next update, else see you again Thursday!

Items of note:

DOMOTWA - Things improved slightly. A little more work for Sidewinder Syndicate.

LHS 417 - TDW won the war 4-2. No real harm done. No more work in this system please.

YUQUI - Well done. System back to stable levels

Ross 154 - BSAC are pending election. Please win it for them.

  • Phra Lak
  • Anyanwu
  • Wolf 629
(not too much to any one of these please!)

General Missions & Passengers:
Note: Work Missions for INF in the following systems for the given faction, when moving these factions up above the native factions, if a conflict starts, we typically want these non-native factions to WIN those conflicts against native factions

LTT 5455 - Missions for GQ Virginis General Corporation and Wolf 562 Major Inc. More for GQ Virginis than for Wolf.
Phra Lak - Missions for TDW (not too many)
Anyanwu - Missions for TDW (not too many)
Wolf 629 - Missions for TDW (not too many)

Future Long term planning:
HAHGWE - The Dark Wheel want ~15% for a buffer and to prevent a conflict
LP 787-52 - The Dark Wheel want ~15% for a buffer and to prevent a conflict
WOLF 433 - The Dark Wheel want ~15% for a buffer and to prevent a conflict
HR 4979 - Alliance of CD-33 8748 want ~15% for a buffer and to prevent a conflict

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Profitable trades into, buying commodities from, and/or hand in Carto Data at:

Ross 154 - Trades into BSAC stations to support their election.
Domotwa - Trade into Sidewinder Syndicate stations.

  • HAHGWE - TDW is a guest of Civitas Dei
  • JAUNERA - TDW is a guest of Delta Squadron
  • LAVE - TDW is a guest of Lave Radio Network

I find them useful (I don't use discord) for information but I'm not acting on the information in these posts while I'm out exploring. LTT 5455 and GQ Virginis General Corporation are 'mine', and I have an interest in many nearby systems (principally in the Shoujeman and San Tu powerplay bubbles).

These reports are helpful. I don't use there discord but I am added to it. Don't find the discord helpful as much. Yesterday, I just turned in about 500 jumps of exploration data to Fremont Port in Yuqui, in which about 90% of the solar systems I scanned was new.

@Riverside You are hardly the target audience given your prior experience and knowledge. Glad you get something out of it though!

@Reciprocity592 Thankyou for the carto dump in Yuqui. If people like yourself still find these valuable, then WolfDragon and I can continue posting.

I'm not sure how long it takes WolfDragon to prepare these each time, but it took me about 2 hours - 1 of jumping to relevant systems to scan, then about another looking over the systems and writing and posting the orders. This is a fair bit less effort than it used to take during the active stages early in the project. Happy to keep up the effort if people find it valuable.
