Third consecutive day without a tick, Frontier is aware of the problem and working on it.
We all know, that it doesn't feel quite well to work on a common target for days without having any feedback of success or failure. But we should not become too disappointed or unmotivated. This may sound like a moral-boosting slogan and in fact I must admit that it is one, but it is NOT a call for perseverance in a desperate situation, but in a promising winning one.

SO PLEASE DO NOT STOP WORKING ON OUT TARGET. We do not know how the issue will be resolved and which consequences it will have. But be assured, continuing on following the orders is the best option we have. The orders are the right thing to do independent of the solution Frontier will choose. Doing nothing is the worst option and definitely wrong.

The orders are exactly the same as yesterday, again with a priority on Lave.

Please do not do any of the following as they help the enemy:
Do NOT work for other factions in our systems, unless requested in the orders.
Do NOT hand in bounties for any faction other than The Dark Wheel in our systems.
Do NOT hand in trade goods or cartography data to stations that we do not own.

Tasks for today:

Bounty Hunting & Combat:
  • Bounty hunting in Lave for Lave Radio Network
  • Bounty Hunting in any of our controlled systems. Hand in mostly to LHS 397. (Note: Do not hunt in LHS 397 itself - we do not control the system!)

Commodity Trading
  • Profitable trades into Lave Station in Lave.
  • Profitable trades into Thornycroft in LHS 397.

Missions & Passengers
  • Missions for Lave Radio Network in Lave.
  • Missions for The Dark Wheel in LHS 397.

Exploration Data:
  • Hand in to Lave Station in Lave.
  • Hand in to TDW stations in LHS 397.

Great show, again, CMDR - and your guests!

I sure didn't miss the significance of TDW being mentioned so nicely and prominently in the latest Elite Dangerous Newsletter. It felt good to be a part of this and to see it splashed in front of everyone.
All the activity in-game generally is a wonderful thing! I had a great time pestering the Majestic-Class ships in the Eurybia CZ with my Cream Puff!

So, after a long way through darkness we have some light again, although a lot of things stay unsure.
We did well in the dark, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

In LHS 397 we have a pending election for system control, so nothing to do here today!
GQ Virginis General Corporation in LTT 5455 needs some help, they are a bit low.

It's quite strange, this is probably the first day of Turning The Wheel without any work for TDW. But this will change again tomorrow.

Hamster Lite orders 13 - 14 Oct 3306:

We are back with Hamster Lite Orders to push low influence non-native factions in the cube of Turdetani.
Today's targets are as follows:

Bruthanvan - Bruthanvan Co 6.3%
Arque - Independent Agatavun Labour 6.6% (lockdown)
-Workers of Vucub Huan Alliance 7.1% (lockdown)
Minarii -Workers of Vucub Huan Alliance 6.8%
Uszaa - Tionisla Historical Society 7.0%

Our aims in the Turdetani cube have us working to raise factions that are already higher influence than we usually bother with. Lave has 25 billion population and so it's very hard to change influence there.

The tick has finally arrived and it hasn't been a complete disaster, at least not for us. We no longer know for sure when our expansion should complete, but that may give us a bit of extra time to finish things off. We are actually pretty much still on track.

Conflicts, and expansions and retreats that were due to complete during the broken ticks have had issues but the rest of the universe mostly worked ok.

Due to work/rl I don't have as much time as I'd like to support and follow the endeavour to turn the wheel. After jumping back in after a few days or even weeks it's quite hard to follow up what happened in the meantime (there are daily orders, many forum posts etc to dig through).

Idea/suggestion: add a small bullet point list to highlight achieved milestones, failures and other happenings (and perhaps a brief outlook about the next step). Would be much easier to know whats going on and perhaps also a motivation for other CMDRs to join the endeavour when they see on a glimpse what was achieved already.

And thanks again for setting this up, I think this event gives many cmdrs a new motivation to start up ed again, at least for me!

Orders 14 - 15 Oct 3306

In LHS 397 we are now in an election for system control, do relevant peaceful TDW missions in LHS 397, but our main focus stays on Lave! We are on target, but have a lot of work to do for the expansion expected on Friday, Oct 16 (unsure because of the tick failures).
LHS 346 Democrats in Anyanwu have an infrastructure failure, so do some missions for them to counter that.
Collective of Independent Agents in LFT 926 (yes, again) are close to a conflict, to avoid that and having even more work to do, please to some mission for them.
We have an infrastructure failure in LTT 5455, but our standing is good enough there to repair that later.

Fleet Carrier Owners! Please consider to NOT park your carrier in orbit of Planet Lave, if not doing relevant carrier ops there, for reserving slots for ongoing carrier operations. Thank you!

Maybe you skipped a few as these little updates below werent in the early versions but have been for a while now. If someone else wants to do a lore type commentary would be welcome but the OP & Co have a lot to do as it is...check out Elite Week and Lave Radio, they both keep an eye on it, apparently we featured on a Frontier LS but they deleted that coz we got too excited ;)

Orders 15 - 16 Oct 3306

This is most likely the last day before we will expand from Turdetani. The last day we have a chance to influence where this expansion will land. No previous point in this project has been so critical as this one, and given the difficulty of landing in Lave perhaps even no point in the future. We are on target, but it is pretty close and we will be sure only after we have been expanded (hopefully) tomorrow.

Beside of that:
In LHS 397 we have won the first day of elections, please continue doing relevant peaceful TDW missions in LHS 397.
LHS 346 Democrats in Anyanwu have an infrastructure failure, so do some missions for them to counter that.

Im sorry I know some people will be gutted but try and just laugh about it, next week grrr

So either we are not allowed into Lave (unlikely, no indication so far), the Tick incidents meant we headed elsewhere (not easy, but sure BGS wizards can sort it out so not a oroblem long term) or for some reason we have been aimed or directed at Arque (?? Id like to think its a ploy or someone pushing back just for RP but probably not)

Probably a perfectly good BGS reason for it and its one of the 50 anyway. If it was easy it wouldnt be worth it :)
