The Dark Wheel is steadily climbing in YUQUI and is well on the way towards system control. TDW went straight into ELECTIONS here for #2 in the system, GREAT JOB CMDRs!

ANYANWU has a faction, Aegilips Co, that could use a little love to stop their retreat. Usiren Free in PHRA LAK is also getting a bit too “close” for that as well.

Now that we have won the conflict in favor of the LHS 2335 Group faction in the BD-18 3106 system, I presume that we should work to increase their INF a little bit to make things more stable there. Currently they are very close to another faction's INF.
I am in the area and will spend some of my time this evening to help achieve this.
 
I've been working the 86 Mu Herculis System. Woohoo! We have managed to boost the Colanja Gold Power Services faction and skip it above others who are now entangled in a civil-war state. This, with no conflicts to work thru, no less. Pretty nice! This should help stabilize the system!

86 MU HERCULIS is looking really good for expanding VERY SOON with that 71.5% INF I see there today! EXCELLENT JOB! KEEP IT UP CMDRs!

HR 4979… that's gotten to be a VERY popular system for some reason, let’s make sure those elections go how we need them to so that place can settle down a bit.

Project Status:


The Dark Wheel is in WAR for control of YUQUI, go get your combat on and make that system fly the TDW flag! After the war is over, the usual +INF will need doing here so that TDW can solidly hold control of the system and maybe expand from here later.

Speaking of expansions, TDW is expanding from 86 MU HERCULIS! CONGRATS CMDRs!!!
Per the clock, the expansion will happen from 86 MU HERCULIS between 09-11 OCT. The only work that needs to be done here making sure that Colanja Gold Power Services wins their war here as a system stability measure.

TDW is again in conflict at WOLF 433, I am not sure who is pushing the fed faction here, but Hudson PP needs the system to stay how we have been keeping it per our agreement with AEDC. If TDW conflicts for system control after this war, we will LOSE the war so that TDW stays #2 in this system.

We're on the cusp in Yuqui. Meanwhile the Baris Progressive Party faction's INF has slipped to the point of retreat. Since this is a non-native faction, I presume that we'd like to work to prevent their retreat.

Project Status:

The Dark Wheel now controls YUQUI with quite the margin! CONGRATS CMDRs!
We can now just give that system minor tweaks there as necessary, the main one being keeping Baris Progressive Party from retreating, about 8-10% INF is a good place for them right now.

The expansion from 86 MU HERCULIS is well handled and will conclude between 09-11 OCT. The only work that needs to be done here is just a little work for Colanja Gold Power Services to get them to about 10% INF. I will let all of you know what to do in the system TDW arrives at as soon as we know where that is as well as the results of any diplomatic conversations I will have at that time.

TURDETANI - Per discussions with Federal Reclamation Co. we want to transfer this system to them. Any work here should be done to benefit FRC. When it comes time for the conflict for system control, we want TDW to LOSE that one.

Not a whole lot happening on the conflicts front, just two for TDW that need to be won. There are a number of systems in need of some housekeeping, so plenty of different places and mission types to choose from, see below

Project Status:

The expansion from 86 MU HERCULIS landed The Dark Wheel into a free slot in LHS 417! The Blood Brothers from Alrai welcome TDW to remain in this system and we will abide by our good neighbors policy here.

The invasion war in LP 787-52 looks to be well handled with 3-0 for the Minutemen there, glad to see the status quo will soon be restored there.

Speaking of status quo… a third party has been messing with the BGS in Arque. That is ARRC's system, let it stay that way, we have ZERO interest in that system.

Where two non-native factions conflict, neither winner is “desired”, depending on INF level after the conflict, we would likely boost the LOSER to avoid retreat (happens at 2.5% or lower). Two native factions in conflict can be ignored and their INF in the system can be addressed after the conflict ends.
  • Another general rule, we want non-native factions above the native factions to avoid invasions. Take note that when factions are above 7% influence, and two of them match in %INF, and at least one of them has an asset, this will trigger a conflict. Where possible keep a few % between non-native factions to avoid a conflict as the loser will likely need to get boosted back up above the native factions for stability of the system.

I just noticed in the LTT 5455 system that the Wolf 562 Major Inc faction is in a retreat state.
This is a non-native faction, so we'd likely want to try to prevent their retreat from the system. I noticed only because I was thinking that we should boost their INF and saw the retreat state shown!
"Our" INF in the system is sky-high at >80%, so we don't need much work there for TDW.

Project Status:


The Dark Wheel is in expansion from LTT 5455! Awesome work CMDRs! By the normal scheduling, I expect that to land TDW in a nearby system sometime between 22-24 OCT. As always, I will do the diplomatic thing (if needed) and will let all of you know what to do once TDW arrives.

LHS 417 - After the election there is won, no further work in the system, we will let the two player groups sort that out between themselves

Lots of wars to go expend ammunition in and one election to fix this time around. We also have a couple of systems (LTT 5455 and LP 787-52) need a good once over to fix them up and avoid issues in the process, the rest of the systems with factions needing love should be a bit “simpler”

Ok. It appears that the two desired non-native minor factions* in LTT 5455 are now in the 2nd and 3rd positions with regard to INF, but in the opposite order desired according to the standing orders, and we have avoided a conflict between the two.
Is this significant?
