given that the type-10 shreds it's targets with just multi-cannons, if the ship had a PD 7 or 8 it would be probably OP [big grin]

Been saying this from before release.. Size 7 or 8 Dist is overkill, people on this forum just want OP, no wonder the Anaconda is so popular, no challenge no thought just OP.
Lets hope this vital tech stops with the 10.

actually, the view is huge for me, in that, I don't like the view of the vast majority of the ship clogging up the windshield in the case of the anaconda/corvette. It's the main reason why I want the type 10 to be a viable alternative... Someone already corrected me in that it's actually higher overall (base) dps... in which case I might be able to make the type 10 my "do everything" ship with an all dakka build assuming it'll handle that with the pd

Yeah, sadly the design of the T10 makes the T9 completely obsolete.

I don't see it. I may look closer at the stats when I leave work today; but as a dedicated trader, the T-9 still looks better. If it turns out to be, at least, equal than I will get one. However, it looks like a downgrade form the T-9 for a pure trade role.
So far I've only been to Jameson, Farseer and Jean. With 4600 Hull I still get 24 LY (48% Roll) a jump and with G3 DD 268 Boost. Handles a lot better then the T-9. Will have to see how it is after full engineering.
If I get board doing Thargy stuff can always turn it into a RES tank. That 39 mil Rebuy makes you say oh my goodness though.

Slight downgrade for a pure trade role, I certainly won't be using the T-10 for pure trade. Heavy multi purpose, combat, definitely for mining.
