Thats some fabulous notes
obviously the opinions divert on this. We already had the first complaints that the update was lame because it had nothing but thargoid content before it was even launched. We don't know what content will be in the update apart from what was teased before. Yes, it will be mainly a war update. But nobody knows what else will be in it. And yet here we are. Let the moaning begin.Wow... Update list looks Fantastic... very well balanced for ALL users, not just a 'thargoid war' update... Even have some stuff for Miners and VR-users.... and lots of 'issue tracker' list items addressed... Ton of QOL updates.... GREAT work guys.

Can we please stop spamming every single thread with dozens of posts like these?Of course. I'm surprised it wasn't the very next post.

I've also read the patch notes and I'm super excited and super happy. Frontier have done a great job with this update.I have been on record saying I am giddy like a schoolgirl and looking very much forward to it. I read the patch notes and was very happy, lots of useful fixes, and even two (two!!!!) fixes for VR. I half expect Frontier to troll us with something completely unexpected, too.
We'll have to wait and see. I'd be hopeful as Sally did say the amount of fixes was too long to list in her news post. I'd have thought that particular one was bad enough that it does deserve attention. Are they going to fix the bug where NPCs are frozen to the spot in ground combat?
The full changelog is also already available here. We'll have to wait and see. I'd be hopeful as Sally did say the amount of fixes was too long to list in her news post. I'd have thought that particular one was bad enough that it does deserve attention.
Me either, once made 47 million sniping with head shots. Haven't seen that happen in a long time though. We'll have to wait and see. This one caught my attention, does group in this context mean 50 players in a single instance? How often do you come across a situation like that though?
- Fixed Pilot's Federation combat bonds not being awarded to groups of more than 50 players.
BooooooNot with this update. Last news was that it'll be towards the end of the year.
Not sure you can class that as extra VR stuff. VR legs, yes, slughtly brighter codex screen for VR users, meh.Even have some stuff for Miners and VR-users
I've never mentioned it before, but I feel like I notice little things (fix's) every few weeks on the Thursday tic... little corrected shadows... small color changes here and there... The way distant stars and nebula render... and I think the biggest one was about a year ago when the entire galaxy map background changed on a random thursday and I never saw anyone say anything. Seems like they are fixing little things all the time. Sometimes I question myself like 'did I not notice this before?'...The full changelog is also already available here.
But of course that won't be 100% complete either, since no changelog ever is. Six months is a very long time and I'm sure at some point some developer fixed a very minor thing that didn't get communicated all the way to the CM team.
It has happened to me a couple of times. I found exiting the game and restarting seemed to fix it, but I couldn't say it's happened to me enough to say that'd work in every case.Me either, once made 47 million sniping with head shots. Haven't seen that happen in a long time though.
I've been in a couple of AX instances with >50 cmdrs and wasn't aware of this bug. The usual problem with that many people is that enemies simply stop spawning (scenario stops progressing), probably because one of the many clients can't sync with the host. This one caught my attention, does group in this context mean 50 players in a single instance? How often do you come across a situation like that though?
Even in an AXCZ, the most I've seen is 10+ cmdrs.
Or maybe your graphics card is dying.I've never mentioned it before, but I feel like I notice little things (fix's) every few weeks on the Thursday tic... little corrected shadows... small color changes here and there... Considering they mentioned no VR fixes on the current road map forward... This is absolutely HUGE news. It addresses that VR users are not on the forgotten user list. These 2 little steps are absolutely massive 'messages' to the VR players! Not sure you can class that as extra VR stuff. VR legs, yes, slughtly brighter codex screen for VR users, meh.
