UA Mystery thread 4 - The Canonn

Spoiler tags work on my phone. Just checked I'm requesting the mobile version. Using the built in internet explorer on windows phone.

The mobile theme explicitly says that spoiler tags don't work ("WARNING: Spoilers auto-show on mobile...") and testing with both Chrome and Opera reveals this to be the case. Note that setting the browser to request the mobile version can be overridden by clicking the "full site" link on the site (which sets a cookie). Spoiler tags work perfectly on mobile when using any of the other themes. Of course, IE on mobile has about zero market share, so it could well work differently.

Ok then, I'll use ANAGRAMS... :D

EDIT:
example: a discomforting herd! :D

Long anagrams have never been my forte. Except for not using the h, I can get:

Decoding is art form (missing an h)

Other (to me) interesting anagrams of your phrase:

- Orgasmic hint fodder

- Scored firm gonad hit (ouch!)

- Corroded shafting mi (well, you are Italian)

- His ring coded format

- Ah! Corrode mind's gift

- Scored maid frothing

- Scored maid for night

- Scored a ding from hit

- Random disco fighter

And since you're a programmer (IIRC): "A coder frigid months" or "gnomish coder adrift". Or maybe:

- I fight random coders!

Just to expand a bit further my thoughts:
THAT information is not worthless: it just means that there's new UA related content in 1.5! My curiosity needs to know just that: so that's the only thing I'll try to understand during beta.

Then I'll wait for the official release to do the real Science, also because I do not have that much time, and everything is done in beta needs to be done again after release. And I really don't like to repeat things in a game where repetition is a core essential "feature" already... ;)

...not talking about the new added choice to take some Kinetics Weapons with you out there in the black... :D

Personally, I was most interested in being able to temporarily boost the jump range of your FSD. That could mean some systems unreachable with current FSD technology suddenly become places of interest.

Yes... until you remember that the boost is for a single jump and you can't find the materials in the system you jumped too... Imagine the terror. <starts digging in the sand of a barren world> "There has to be some... there has to be..."

Nice!

But you've missed the obvious one:

Thargoids confirmed!

My favourite is...

Random disco fighter

Just a thought, I know some think this has something to do with Thargoids but to me it almost seems as if the NPC's involved are trying to bring something back to life . Perhaps these pods are a lifeboat of sorts containing the DNA of a long lost civilization and med convoys that are seen with them containing progenitor cells and scientific research are trying to revive that lost civilization?

Perhaps they code they are sending out is DNA or RNA? this may have been covered im kinda new to this thread.

During the 1.4 beta, I really didn't mind the UA testing and pointing to Merope discussions and discovery, because I firmly believed that FD wouldn't have significant UA things to discover in the beta. At least not things that would translate unchanged into the full release. It wouldn't have been that hard to change the system on full release. I was quite wrong.

Of course, maybe FD only did that because they knew there was nothing to discover in Merope yet. ;)

Because of that, I do think that Horizons beta testing should remain unpublished / unspoiled. Especially any major discoveries or advancements. I have beta access, but it's not right for people without beta access to have to avoid this thread if they don't want unreleased spoilers.

Just my opinion, of course, but I think we should err on the side of being considerate.

I have a request.

If anyone with a UHD monitor or VR is able to take readable screen shot of the system panels in the back of the cockpit (both sides) of the T6-9, I would be greatfull.

Tho solo screen shots I made are not good enough.

Boosting range defiantly of interest, will it be limited to materials or any cargo?
The prospect of pushing a UA into the jumpdrive to see what happens B-)

So here are the screenshots I took last night, showing the Python's cargo and the chat log with the message regarding the mission failure.
