Unable to connect to frontier servers

Hi Flobabob,

There are 789 users online at the moment so I can assume the servers are OK?

Could it be a local problem at your end although as you have internet connectivity it seems unlikely?

I would suggest waiting a few minutes then try again and / or relaunch the program or even a re-boot.

Yeah, I'll try faffing about with my router. Looks like I have UPNP turned off and a dynamic local address. May just be luck it's worked until now. I'll turn on upnp and use a static ip.

Random question: You don't have twin NIC's in your PC do you? One with Internet access and one without?

The reason I ask is because I have two NIC's in my PC and, for some weird reason, the game kept trying to use the wrong one. I had to go into the game's settings to force it to use the right one. I've always run twin NIC's and never had a problem with ED before.

Scoob.

I have a few virtual NICs from VPNs and VMware but no, the only game I had an issue with using the wrong IP address was Age of Empires III which would always pick the wrong one :D
