The utter daftness of this appeals to my nature. Firstly its harmless and is akin to playing knock down ginger. Secondly it actually serves a greater purpose, to annoy those who are frankly irritating and finally it has the potential to unite the easy going people of the galaxy.
Now if only we knew who the code members are. That's my stickler. I don't and I wouldn't want to irritate others by mistake with collateral interdictions. Isnt it impossible to know who is who?
I find this thread hilarious. Let me point out a few things you might not be thinking about as you plan this all out:
1) It's been tried before and has failed miserably. This is not a new idea.
2) You do know when you interdict one person in a wing you're not pulling over the whole wing, right? That one person in their own Cobra/Python/whatever just tells his wingmates in Teamspeak "Hmm...getting interdicted by a player Cobra. Don't worry about it, one person drop in with me in case she has friends, the rest of you stay in SC in case she jumps, then pull her over and kill her." And that's exactly what will happen. Total time wasted for the wing will be about a minute or two. Seen this happen time and time again.
3) Your own PvP skills and game mechanic knowledge aren't usually up to par with the bears you're going to be poking with that Cobra stick. You'll wind up getting mauled and seeing a rebuy screen more often than not, "high speed Cobra" or no. But hey, everyone - including me - has learned this lesson at one time or another in the past. Seems you're about to learn it yourselves in the near future.
4) Some groups really hold a grudge bordering on the psychotic. We tend not to since we know it's just a game of internet spaceships and a laugh in good fun, but others take it far more seriously and you may wind up in some sort of silly vendetta where every time you venture out into Open you're hunted down and killed. Or your TS server gets DDoS'd (boy have we seen THAT one). Or you get doxxed.
So with those points in mind, as a friendly reminder you should be very careful what you wish for - you may just get it in spades.
I recommend you venture out into the YouTubes and Twitches and actually watch videos of the players and their compatriots you think are so bad you feel you must venture down this silly road.
You might just learn something. For free. And it won't cost you a rebuy screen.
