edit: I know we're supposed to poste in capital letters for easy copy and paste, but how can I do this? Even though I use CAPSLOCK or SHIFT the forum converts the letters back to small.

Very nice! Much easier to find stuff :)

Special Announcement
Latest release of Universal Cartographics The Galatic Record Book is now available for your viewing pleasure

catagories have been rearranged to make browsing easier
new catagories also added
still lots of work on content to be done!
contents page should allow you to jump to the relevant slide when you click on each category but I don't think it works

Fantastic work again Patau! Jumping to relevant category does work, and it is very useful. If I may make a suggestion, do you think it would make sense to also have a link that takes you back to the first contents page at the bottom or top of each record page? For some reason pressing the HOME key doesn't do anything when I'm browsing the book in Presentation mode.

I also beat my own latest find a moment ago:

COLDEST ROCKY ICE PLANET
COL 285 SECTOR IM-U b16-0 1 AT 39K

The same planet also has a surface pressure that would fit the new category of "lowest s. pressure" nicely - it's under 0.00. I wonder though if this is very common...any thoughts on this, fellow commanders?

ROCKY ICE PLANET WITH THE LOWEST SURFACE PRESSURE
COL 285 SECTOR IM-U b16-0 1 WITH 0.00 ATMOSPHERES

Added latest records!
Heaviest Neutron Star = 15.0977 Solar Masses... Crab Pulsar
You beat me to it just on my way there!

yes I can add a button will do it later, and I was hoping there wouldn't be 0.00 surface pressure

new record:

SMALLEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT
HR 1185 A 3 WITH 18,885 KM

LIGHTEST CLASS IV GAS GIANT
HR 1185 A 3 WITH 25.1795 EARTH MASSES

and I was hoping there wouldn't be 0.00 surface pressure

I wouldn't personally include lowest surface pressure as a record for objects that don't necessarily have an atmosphere and a surface because there are literally billions with a value of 0.

And some new records.

SMALLEST CLASS V GAS GIANT

Great news we made it onto the official news letter!!:D:D
but they spelt my name wrong:(
I want to add a new section to the record book,
CMDR Records!
such as furthest from sol, that one will go to Erimus!
but I was also thinking we could do some non exploration records to attract players who don't explore
such as
highest bounty
Highest profit
etc...
I'm looking for suggestions please post, but no records yet just possible categories

that planet does actually have a atmosphere, I think planets without an atmosphere don't have a surface pressure entry
hoping the more interesting planets earth like, water world, etc don't have 0.00
