Hello, first time posting here but i have been following this debacle and given it alot more thought than i would like to admit.
Galnet have an interesting article today https://community.elitedangerous.com/galnet/uid/55ae28209657ba461e357514
It is the Senator's superhero name when she is off doing dirty things with the Dark WheelPlease let Salomé be a system in the game or a station.
So, is "HIP8" the clue needed, or does the story just go on regardless of what we do ? (if this has anything at all to do with UA)
Sorry, Typo. Was "HIB8"HIP 8, both of them are just normal systems one of them is empty of planets. It could be that you need a UA to see anything interesting in the system. But that would mean that only the lucky people who have a UA will have to visit both systems and test them out.

Then, I've "jokingly" asked if they can make mrTree FIND another one in a "short time"... didn't get a reply, so far
BUT...
May I suggest to mrTree, when he comes up, to go hunting some SSS? You never know...![]()
Hib8 and Sap8
I wonder what the connection is, if any.
Afternoon guys.
I know we're just stabbing in the dark here but whatever.
The morse thing. Did we get a final set of coordinates or numbers or something?
I saw this posted on reddit, and got thinking. If we did get a set of numbers, maybe they could relate to a certain station. Never noticed before but they all have numbers... (see image).
Like i said, stabbing in the dark.
Failing this, hopefully something gets posted in regards to the CG's tonight.

You cheeky sod!
It is Senator Loren's "nom-de-guerre" from some of Drews novels. It isnt a cause of a wild goose chase.Salomé is thought to be the lady who danced for herod and asked for John the Baptist's head on a platter. All those dead sea scroll documentaries I listened to while trying to reach the far side of the Galactic rim are paying off lol. I'll hit up Google to see what else I can find.

Not being funny, I understand you feel guilty about this but I really don't like the idea of trying to get Frontier to intervene.
It's a lost UA, lost ENITRELY due to player error, it's done, leave it there and let's move on, we will find more. This was not lost to a bug and does not need artificially "fixing".
We update the wiki, learn the lesson and we move on.
I don't think, using dupe glitches, talking to a friend who works at Frontier trying to get information, or logging support calls to fix our own blunders is the way forward.
For me such things start to undermine the work people have put in, I sincerely hope Frontier don't "magic one in". I was really interested to see if Mr Tree could find another one quickly, if he does I now cannot infer anything from that.
Don't worry, "FORTUNATELY" they cannot do anything about that.
So if mrTree or anyone of us will find an UA in the next hours, it will be just a mix of luck and perseverance, as usual.
