No. They are a faction on Jameson, but it seems impossible to get them to take the station or expand. I think the system, and possibly the faction is under dev control
You're saying they said "no way we will not increase the odds"?

They said it is not possible to do that from their console and that they were sorry.
EDIT: but let me point this, even if they let us find another UA, thing that I totally exclude btw, not that much help or "ruining your experience" would be happen.
We already have an UA, we eventually go back to have two, and that's all. No solution, no hints, nothing.
Just us to go on with the usual theories.

This ^^ is what I was about to post too, its more likely [conjecture]related to the 'parting of ways' of Drew and FD recently, and they are writing her character out of the FD version of the story (Often happens in soap operas and the Simpsons), or perhaps, releasing the character to do anything in his future novels[/conjecture]. Drew's input the the earlier thread earned a few hundred pages of hypotheses and code breaking, but turned out to be unrelated to the UA and no more than a distraction, so the whole Formadine Rift/Kahina story is a red herring IMHO..
The only tangible thing I took from that article is that the special outfitting turned out to be fakes, so that suggests to me that the possible connection between that 'Gutamaya Advanced Scanner' doesn't really exist, and so this UA probably isn't one of them. Or it could mean a big old coverup and that's exactly what it is.
There have been a few mysterious disappearances now though, and with the lack of any clear clues its understandable that we will grasp these straws as they float past, but the question is, is this a sign that we should discount all of the political stuff from our thinking, or bring it front and centre? Or somewhere in between. Humph.

Today's Galnet net post is in fact the last paragraphs of Senator Kahina Tijani Loren's biography from Drew Wagar's site. I remember reading this a number of weeks ago.

I'm taking this to be the closure of the character because Drew sent me a PM when I mentioned about continuing Lady Kahina's story in some way through forum, Galnet or blog posts.

Well it does. Recently weve been discussing what factors may influence finding a UA and the big thing there was Mr Tree finding one so quickly. Twice could just be RNG, if Mr Tree found a third one within 24 hours, that for me would be a huge indicator that there's more than just RNG involved.
These things are in limited supply, if we can increase the odds of our finding them then perhaps destructive testing becomes viable.

Sadly, I almost suspect it's pretty much just Drew Wagar rage quitting his character due to amongst other things Patreus taking over Prism.
BTW. I reccomend anyone who hasn't read his book to pick it up. The audiobook is excellent for playing Elite. It even made trading enjoyable

I spent many years listening to morse and i can guarantee its vid 8
Could any one with the knowledge give me a rundown of the morse code theory? Including how a player can hear the morse/any video recording? This is one part of the UA I'm not overly familiar with and I'd like to catch up. Just point me in the right direction and my curiosity will take over
