Then I wonder if that bluff shouldn't be called, if it is.
I'd rather be told by someone that's been as involved in this thread as you, or I, or many of the rest of the guys (and girls) that have put hours onto this.
Anyone volunteer to ruin it for themselves, to take the red pill and ask Kerrash to tell them the secret? If it's real, all they have to do is post 'Kerrash was right' and then promise never to say anything else.
Since I'm the only one to have called his credentials into doubt so harshly. I'll volunteer - if he's reading - and if you guys would be happy to take my word on it should I end up eating my words and posting said message.
I'm quite new to the mystery, really only sticking my beak in since the new thread kicked off. So, I'm far newer than most and have input far less than many of you. In that regard, I have less invested so would be willing to take that pill if it was thought fairer. That said, I'd back your play on this, LordZoltan.
On another note, regarding the impact of the GalNet story, is the thinking that the UA is more on the Cure side or on the Kill side? Given the mention of promotions in the convoy chatter and my indefatigable optimism*, I'm leaning towards Cure.
Is the UA technology in finite supply and the authorities are deploying them to innoculate only those regions that they can? Is it simply a wall of silence because the 'hard call' says others must face an agonizing death with only the most meagre of medical supplies* to comfort them in their final hours? It would explain their reluctance to issue any sort of statement.
Mind you, what in the name of Jameson** does listening to the UAs have to do with that? I'm veering back to an earlier belief that Michael Brookes asked whether people had listened to them because it was not too much of a give-away of anything, and could just easily (and quite fairly) be chalked up to the man being proud of the sound team.
*Booze, just booze
**Not the booze
