1. Aye, captain. I had taken a trip to Reddit to try to help clear some things up. Its a sad state over there. Many think the Morse code is the same for every system. They claim we have to find the system that the Morse is saying. Even worse, few think the guy in the cab was legit, believing him to be a full on dev. They base many theories off what he claimed. I wasnt saying that it was true, rather that their information is terribly skewed.

I meant a link to the forum page...... Some folks over there are fond of mocking up things in photo shop........who could forget the Thargoid Voyager plate ;)

Although equally important don't forget they said thargoid would be in game at release at some point back then :)

Any chance you know what frequency this is (in Hz?) I'm not sure exactly what the chittering is.

We gotta find it. The fact that MB said "will be no" and not "would not be" is telling me Raxxla does exist if this post exists...

I think the biowaste test was done once before (correct me if I'm wrong). Someone linking the biowaste test would be nice tho'...

Another small test would be to "push" a canister really close to a UA (someone with extreme care...), so we can see if the canister lights are going crazy because of the UA or the cloud just distorts it... All vids I've seen had the canister quite far away, therefore I never ruled this out.

I still wait for Rizal's test results with 4 (wing), 6 (thargoid), 8 (octagon's are cool in space) and 12 (pods) test.

Edit: About the recent reddit thing... This thread works better than reddit. It "forces" us (a lot more) to read through everything, on the other hand people might skip / downvote good ideas there based on the title over at reddit. There's also the fact that Reddit's layout is something that does not encourage reading long tests. At. All. Period. It wasnt designed for something like this.

I think they have increased the frequency. We used to be lucky if we found one a week, now we seem to get them every few days. It's possible that's due to an increase in the number of commanders searching, but suspect there is more to it than that.

Not off the top of my head, but if you look for a whale honk that doesn't have the trombones after it, there is a kind of chittering sound that could be a cricket or similar, that's the Morse.. Its somewhere in the mid-low range.

Alright, just woke up. I'd like to apologize for what I said yesterday in my sleep-deprived state. Although I do want to say that a lot of you seriously misinterpreted what I was saying.

I was NOT saying we should abandon this thread. I was saying people should keep an eye on reddit as well. I got angry because so many people here were being outright stubborn and saying that they won't even give it a chance. As for all the simple posts on there, what do you expect, we were just like that when we were starting. Go there and give them a hand.

Anyways, now that that has been cleared up, lets forget about all that and get actual work done.

EDIT: Also I'm going to need to get in contact with clavian about un-ignoring me -.-

Seems to me like the UA may be sick,

All content purr,purr,purr.....wail,wail ohh my left pod hurts

anyone tried dropping some basic medicine near it or anything else medical i think it needs curing.

Just a quick dumb question I could not find an answer to on Wiki. Anyone tried to jettison multiple UAs in one spot?


BTW, I wonder if there's still the Oceanarium in Beta Hydri (or where was it supposed to be?) - There was a mission in Frontier or FFE to transport some dolphins to an oceanarium.

Hi, The Anaconda "Lapsed Pacifist" will be flying tonight from around 7:30 in Timocani, most likely Friday night as well then Saturday afternoon from around
3 onwards and same again Sunday, (It helps when your better half is as obsessed as you ;-)

Playing in Mobius group more the merrier ! feel free to Wing up

BTW Asp was one of my personal favourites ! Great ship and took us a long way to Sag A and Back.
