In addition to that, I think people should be less overly 'competing' about a certain animal species and just be happy about any animals species that gets lucky enough to be added to the game. For every animal there is a fan that's happy with it being added and people who don't like it or won't use it. That's fair, stop bickering about it. It gets boring and a bit annoying. The fact is: every animal could be in the game. The fact also is: no way that every animal will be in this game. Accept that. In the end, when support stops, everyone will have certain species that they would have loved in the game or certain features they would have liked. But I learn more and more: look at what you have and can enjoy, don't look at what is lacking. It will make life much brighter and you'll feel much more happy.

I don't think there is anything wrong with hoping for new content (even if its just colormorphs) for dogs because a big chunk of Frontier's consumer base are dog lovers! And, they are totally ignoring dog lovers this year.
I agree though! Even the wild boar and AWM were welcome!

Canid fans crying about being forgotten when we've gotten at least two canids every year meanwhile waterfowl fans are just happy to finally get one for the first time.

Look, I really like both the bat-eared fox and raccoon dog and would love to see them but I'm not going to lose sleep over it... We have more than enough canids in the game already and there is more to life than just dogs, they are honestly probably the most overrepresented group in the game.

If you would Like to See a specific Dog species you Just want to See this specific Dog species. And No Waterfowl species around the world could change that. I think 1 Dog species seems realistic next year. Which one time will show.

Yes, its perfectly fine. Just as fine as adding a AWM OR a third pig like animal in the year...
and yes, I know we have gotten three dogs in a year before! :)
I don't expect another dog species... Just a new colormorph? Melanistic maned wolf, wild dog variations?

We got two pigs and one as a present. Does it really mind which family it is at the end. Free is free. Nothing to Claim. Everything is better than nothing. Same goes for various color morphs. You do not have to use it.

But personally I probably never understand this much Focus on animals people do Not want. Instead you should be happy about the animals you wanted and got. There are other people Here around which are on the other Side and wanted the other animal but Not the one you wished for.

Speaking for myself. I am just Happy we still get Support. I welcome every species we get. They all enrich the Game. By just making the choices broader or bringing something new. If I should get one animal from my Wishlist I am just a Bit more enthusiastic. But as I said I do not really mind anymore. I happily take what we get.

There are probably children on the forums. Can you imagine telling a child irl that you think their favorite animal is stupid?
