Yeah it's a bit weird how FDev repeatedly pushes updates into primetime for no reason whatsoever. I mean it's not even like it's their usual workhours in England. They pull overtime stunts just to have the updates late in the day in Europe.
3 PM update -> 7 PM hotfix -> overtime for developers and servers down during primetime in europe and middle of the day in US
10 AM update -> 2 PM hotfix -> developers go home on time and servers down in the middle of the day in Europe and very early in the morning in the US
To me the second option sounds like a win-win for everyone, but what do I know?
Very unlikely, I wouldn't worry. More likely is a "mini-rollback" of 1-2 minutes.Erm, I was getting interdicted and then it booted me as a server version miss match (there were no in game messages about the servers going down)... Question is will I have lost my ASP due to the new "your ship is in danger" logout restriction...
Well if you had actually read my post you would have noticed that I did not put the hotfix into question at all, but rather the late time for the initial patch.Because people not being able to play is 'No reason at all" ... Doens't matter what game it is initial patch days are always going to be problems. Just because you are not having issues doesn't mean hundreds or possibly thousands of others aren't.
launcher slow, game starts then immediatly closes!
Just wait, they're putting those hamsters to spin the servers power-wheels right now. =]I've upgraded to 1.1 but unfortunately not be able to log in the launcher!
Is there anything i can do?
